About this property

Country Paradise that sleeps 20 adults comfortably with a 2 Bedroom Loft, Rustic Cabin, & 4 Themed Cabanas - 7 Bedrooms & 10 beds. If your group is larger than 20, please bring air mattresses, tents, campers &/or RVs. We have 2 RV hook-ups that are available for $50/ea. Loft has a full kitchen & also included is our large outdoor kitchen next to our private recreational pond complete with boats. Pond is stocked with Bass, Catfish and Sunfish and has a 2-story dock with high dive. It also has a Large Pool and hot tub that are open year-round. Gazebo, stage and parking arena are perfect for events! We have 3 firepits and several grills/ smokers. Firewood and charcoal are provided. This is a 1 of a kind gem! Perfect for a family reunion or corporate retreat!

This is a working ranch with cattle, horses, donkeys, goats, & chickens. We live here on the property in the main house to care for the animals and to make sure you have everything you need during your stay.

Absolutely magical!

Our recent stay at this VRBO was nothing short of magical. From the stunning barn & cabins to the charming farm animals, the inviting pool, and the serene small lake, this vacation was a dream come true. The cabins were simply exquisite. They offered the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Every detail was carefully considered. The cabins were not just accommodations; they were an integral part of the experience, making us feel like we had found a hidden gem! Our hosts were the epitome of hospitality. They welcomed us and a genuine passion for ensuring our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. The presence of farm animals added a delightful layer of charm to our stay. Interacting with the friendly goats, chickens, and those lovable donkeys became a daily highlight. We couldn't get enough, and the hosts even let them participate in feeding and caring for the animals, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Great times and a worry free stay

Rented this listing for a large bachelor party and it was the perfect place for us. Property was clean and well kept. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. All around a fantastic spot. No issues finding the property or getting situated. If you have a large group that likes to cook and hangout by the water then this is the spot. Pictures don’t do it justice, the property is gorgeous all the rooms are spacious and comfortable the pond was a blast and hanging by the fire or in the hot tub was amazing. 10/10 can’t wait to find an excuse to party out there again!

Awesome

Our family had a wonderful time on this property as a family only birthday party/family outing. The kids enjoyed the pool and the older ones enjoyed jumping off the high dive in the pool. Ms Kathy was awesome and super friendly and helpful. They had everything we needed but the food was spot on for anything that we needed help with. Thanks again for a very memorable weekend. No complaints and will definitely use again. You can not go wrong with this property.

I moved to Texas from Minnesota back in '84 and met Laurell, a native Texan, in '85. We married in 1987 and have 2 grown children now. We love the outdoors & we go on family motorcycle trips whenever we can. We have met so many interesting people while hosting groups at our ranch.

Why they chose this property

We have lived on this property for over 28 years. We love to be outdoors and have built and added on over the years to create our own paradise for our family. Now that the kids are grown we have decided to share our little piece of paradise with other families.

What makes this property unique

We searched for lakeshore property several years ago but never could find the right property with beach frontage, privacy, views, and close to home. That is when we decided to make our own "Lake Home" right here on the ranch. We made our pond larger & deeper and added a dock with high dive. Stocked the pond with Bass, Catfish, Bluegill & Sunfish so we could fish and swim right in our own backyard. When you stay at our ranch you can kick back and relax without worrying about who is in the campsite next to you. No busy roads and no crowded beaches! Just you and your family, or group, enjoying quiet country living together. Fish, swim, paddleboard, feed the goats, talk to the donkeys, enjoy a country night around a campfire, and make great memories together.
