We highly recommend renting a car so that you can drive yourself to/from the airport. All navigation apps work well provided you have data roaming. In the event of no data package you can either get a local sim card at the airport or use an offline navigation app such as maps . me. (You will need to download Aruba maps in advance). A car will give you the freedom to explore the area and the island. Driving in Aruba is easy and the best beaches are only between 3-7 minutes away :)
