Remodeled 2 bedroom 1 bath basement apartment, featuring a brand new kitchen & bathroom. Includes all the amenities you’ll need, whether you are here to explore the area, go hiking, or enjoy the slopes. We have a fully stocked kitchen, a cozy living room, indoor & outdoor dining spaces and more! Please read OTHER DETAILS for info you’ll want to know.

This basement apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, dining space, and a fully stocked kitchen.

Bedrooms: the master bedroom features a queen size bed and a smart TV, closet & chest and the guest room has a floating twin bed with a second twin trundle bed available. Please note the guest bedroom is a bit narrow, but still comfortable.

The remodeled kitchen has all the supplies you would need to make most meals. We have also installed a brand new dishwasher as well as a new microwave and fridge.

The living space has ample seating for 5 with a sofa and 2 chairs with a dining table for 4. TVs include Netflix and Disney+ ready to go and we have several board games for your use as well.

The front outdoor deck also has dining space for 4-5 as well as a brand new grill. We have a large backyard that you can access from a shared hallway which also includes a washer and dryer.

PLEASE NOTE: this is a basement unit, you will hear foot traffic from upstairs. The main level guests are aware of the lower unit and have been asked to keep the noise down, but you will hear foot traffic. Also, we DO NOT recommend this apartment for anyone over 5’ 11”. Anyone taller will have to duck or will hit their head.

You have have access to the entire basement unit, as well as the lower front deck with outdoor dining and a grill. The backyard is a shared space with the main floor unit.

My wife and I live approx 30 minutes away and I work in Essex. We are very communicative and go out of our way to make sure you have a comfortable stay.

Not Ready Upon Check In
After a 6 hour drive, I was disappointed to find the rental was not ready upon my arrival. When I walked into the rental, the odor of inexpensive perfume was very strong and seemed as if the previous occupants had literally just left. The bedding and towels were not refreshed, and the space had not been cleaned of trash and crumbs. The host was unreachable and I had left a message. I left the property and had to find last minute accommodations at a local hotel. After checking in to the hotel, I contacted Vrbo directly, and they were able to finally reach the host where a three way call was initiated. They seemed very cavalier, but apologized when venting my frustration and honored my request for a full refund. Things to note, the communication with the host was welcoming, friendly and attentive up until that point. It is run by an host out of state, so you may not be able to reach someone right away if you have an issue. The space was as described and photos were accurate. Fairly cozy, but the bathroom quite small. It is a lower level unit with another rental above in the same small ranch house. There are steps from the front that lead you down to the lower basement level, it is also where the outdoor sitting space is located, not off the back door (back yard) from the kitchen like I had thought. The entrance is somewhat private from the front.
