Tucked away on the back side of the lodge, this suite for two beckons couples inside to enjoy the beautiful woodworking, the stone fireplace, TV, cozy sectional sofa, private master bedroom with a queen size bed, and the full bathroom with two-person Jacuzzi and walk-in shower. The fully-equipped kitchen provides everything needed for meal preparation. Enjoy a quiet evening on the private patio listening to the sounds of nature, miles away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Growing up on a dairy farm across the road from what is now our lodge property, Duane Miller (co-owner with his wife, Gwen) later in his life saw an opportunity to purchase part of a farm, which years later became the location for our lodge. What started out as two, private lodge suites grew into twelve private, luxury lodge suites and two luxury, cabin suites. Duane grew up Amish on a large farm in Holmes County, Ohio and Gwen was raised in the rural countryside of Coshocton County, Ohio. Both enjoy sharing their love of nature, farm-country, and the peaceful countryside with their guests.

What makes this property unique

Strolling around the grounds, guests enjoy well-manicured flower gardens, our horse barn and our Amish neighbor’s horse in our pasture field. (Coming soon, we will have our own horses for guests to enjoy.) Continue the walk out the beautifully paved driveway to our quiet country road, where buggies can be frequently seen clip-clopping along their way. Make your way to the Sojourner’s Pond across the road, to take in the pond views and hike the trails on the Sojourner’s southern property. Guests can also enjoy an evening at one of the fire pits, star gazing, meeting new friends, or cozying up with their special someone. And with only a short drive to all the attractions in Amish Country, guests have the best of both worlds: the quiet respite on a picturesque property and the proximity to all the shops, restaurants, and attractions that make Amish Country so great.
