This is more than a place to stay. It is an experience. We have horses, goats, chickens, and often other animals. In the spring, we usually have babies to play with (Baby goats and baby chickens) If you’re into riding horses, send me an inquiry and I will give you the deets. There’s a fire pit so you can melt into the night and roast marshmallows while watching the stars of the Milky Way. Close to State and national parks this rental is well placed. Big and roomy there are three bedrooms with queen beds.there are two twin, roll-out mattresses and an ottoman that pulls out into a twin bed. The kitchen has a stove top, air-fryer toaster oven, plug in griddle, rice cooker and a crockpot, plus all dishes, pots, pans and utensils you could need. Also a Keurig coffee machine. I supply fresh eggs when I have them.if you want them. The space This space is in my daylight basement apartment. It has its own entry. You never have to see anyone. Your privacy is secured as the ceiling is made of steel beams, rebar and cement. There are games, books, TV and a fireplace. We have also added a bonus game room. Guest access We are on five acres and you are more than welcome to meander everywhere. There are benches throughout and a tire swing. You are also welcome to say hi to the chickens, horses, ducks and goats. They will all treat you like a rockstar, especially if you bring them food. The wire around the horse pen is hot. So step inside, with the horses to say hi to them. They love carrots and apples. Only 1 or 2 each though please. Other things to note There is also a washer and dryer in the space. Yay! New addition!

You guys were amazing to host! It was so fun to meet your cute family. I’m glad you had a good day and thank you so much for leaving the space so incredibly immaculate! We love you guys and you’re always welcome back.
We love everything about our stay at the farm. We especially enjoy visiting and feeding the animals. Rhonda was great. We couldn’t have asked for better.
The Ranch was an excellent option. Rhonda, the manager was extremely helpful with different points of interest in the area; waterfalls, Zion and Bryce National parks. The home provided every thing you needed plus numerous activities for entertainment. Additionally, my grandchildren didn’t want to leave because they loved feeding and petting the horses and goats. Plus, it was the first time my grandson rode a horse.
We really enjoyed our stay at the ranch. Rhonda was very friendly and accommodating for our group of mixed adults and young adults. The chickens, horses, and goats were amazing, and we even got to see some chicks being raised, which was a special experience.
We would definitely rebook in the future. There’s so much to do in Southern Utah that we’ll have to come back soon to experience everything we missed!
Such a perfect spot for families with kids! Between the game room and the animals and the swingset our kids were never bored. This location also always seemed to be quite a bit less hot than Springdale (assuming due to elevation) which was a plus. The beds were comfy and the shower had great water pressure. We did a day in Zion and several stops at Kolob Canyon which is SO close by (also less crowded and just as gorgeous as the main Zion area). Ask Rhonda for directions to her nearby secret hike, it was epic!! Overall our stay was perfect for the price!

Thank you, McKenzie! It was so fun to host you and your cute family! You are always welcome back. 🤠🩵🌺
Absolutely fantastic time! We were looking for a place close to Zion NP and chose this property because our girls (ages 10 and 13) are crazy about horses. We didn’t anticipate that all of us, including the 16 and 17 year old guys, would love the animals. Whether playing chase with the goats, cuddling the baby goat, hosing down and grooming the horses, checking out the kittens, or just watching the silly chickens, we all found something to do. The host, Rhonda, was the most friendly, helpful, and generous host I’ve ever encountered. She knew the area well and gave us great tips on Zion and local stores/restaurants. We slept great in the clean, comfortable beds. Our family of six had plenty of room and two showers was a huge plus. We were able to back in close to our spacious area which made loading easy. The kitchen was sufficient for cooking the fresh eggs provided by Rhonda. :) We made a grocery run and packed food in the cooler for the park. We could’ve easily spent a few more days here. Tears were falling as we drove away. Highly recommend!!
We had a fantastic stay! Beds were comfy, all areas clean, and the animals were just a big bonus! The host were very friendly and answered any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again next time we are hiking in Zion! Thanks for having us!

Loved the communication with our host - loved the location which was super convenient for the things we wanted to see. Loved the "home" feel of our lodgings.
Our family really enjoyed the game room, the living room (perfect gathering space for family), and the animals. Thank you for such a unique and memorable stay 3
We stayed at Life Is Good on the Farm for my son's requested birthday trip to Zion. The apartment was conveniently located near Kolob Canyon which eas a fantastic hike. Rhonda was a gracious host who checked on us intermittently to ensure we had everything we needed. The space felt cozy and was a great place to relax after long days hiking. It was stocked with all the basics we needed for a week stay

Whoa! It’s been a while. But thank you so much for the awesome review and for being such incredible guests. You are always welcome back.
It was great at the farm! The place is nice and cozy. We loved the game room and being able to horseback ride and feed the goats. Getting freshly laid eggs is great too. The location is fantastic for Brian Head, Parowan Gap, and of course Zion! We absolutely recommend this place. Rhonda and Bart are great hosts!

Hey ya'll! We've been doing this nightly rental for 8 years now and had such a blast doing it. We Love people! We travel a lot and love to experience life everywhere. As I write this, we have 3 horses, 30 chickens, a goose, 4 ducks and 3 friendly cats. Life is never dull here. We would Love to share the magic of this place with you.
Why they chose this property
So this property is just a hop away from some of the most beautiful scenic views and hikes ever! Kolob. Canyon is a little known part of Zion and well worth a visit. While you might meet 2000 people on every hike in the main part of Zion, you might see about 20 or less on any of the Kolob hikes and you don't need to catch a shuttle. we are 10 minutes away from Kannaraville Falls hike, which is another awesome adventure. Spring Creek is also very close. Just to give you an idea. I have some secret hikes I save for my guests. Bryce (2hrs n of us) Zion (45min s.e. ) Grand Canyon (2 hrs s. of us) Snow Canyon (45 min. s.w. ) There is so much adventure to find in our little corner of the world.
What makes this property unique
There is little to no light pollution here so you can see the stars like they were meant to be seen. The milky way cuts a clear path across the sky and falling stars are a frequent occurrence. Come make a wish, sit on a horse and feed some friendly chickens. Life is good on the farm.
