Great stay!

We had a fabulous stay! We loved the hot tub, and appreciated the beach chairs in the garage! It is in a great location. Close to Anastasia State Park and we walked to historic downtown. It was nice to not worry about parking a car. The neighborhood seemed very safe and clean!

Our family loved the backyard ( hot tub does heat up well, just takes time). Hammocks and outdoor furniture lovely. Home is well decorated and good central location.

What a cute house!

I LOVED this cute home! It was very clean, the property manager was very responsive, and it was so well located between St. Augustine and the beach areas. We had a great week! Basic supplies were skimpy, but otherwise the home was well furnished. I would stay here again if we return to the area!

Wonderfully comfortable home

We spent 8 days in this wonderfully comfortable home. There were 2 couples in our group, and it was nice to have 2 of the bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. The kitchen was well stocked, and I loved that the coffee maker had both a K-cup option and a full pot of coffee option. The couples used the hot tub every evening, which was lovely (it would have been a little tight to fit all 4 adults). Checking in was easy: I received a text with the door lock code, which was nice to not have to get a key. One morning one of the toilets was having issues and we called Vacasa and they sent a plumber out within 2 hours and had it fixed. We were out exploring, and they texted to make sure it was ok to enter the house and then texted again to say that it was fixed. We would definitely stay here again!

Holiday Break

The location was excellent and the property was as described. The only issue was that heavy rain left the backyard flooded and unusable.

Great house!

This house was perfect for our family of four. It’s located right between downtown and the beach. We loved the hot tub and all of the fun extras that we could take to the beach (a wagon and four chairs). The house was clean and the company was very clear with instructions, very easy to communicate with if needed. Highly recommend!

Salt & Light

This was our first time to visit St Augustine with our family. There were 5 adults and no children. The house was very clean and decorated nicely. Everything was updated and we had plenty of room. There is a hot tub but we didn't have an opportunity to use it. The back yard was so peaceful, a very quiet neighborhood. The only downside was the patio is only covered with a sunshade and so when it rains (which it did a couple of nights). The chair cushions would all get wet and you couldn't go out to sit. But we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Respit

We came to St Augustine to explore the area for a long weekend. House was well appointed, within walking distance to town, well decorated and had a nice private back yard. Missing some staples like a blow dryer, beach towels and streaming access in one of the bedrooms, but overall you can tell a lot of thought was put into the layout of this recently renovated rental. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the property to families looking for a mix of old St Augustine and the beach!

Great house, unfortunately hosted thru Vacasa

A nice property in an up-and-coming part of town (Anastasia Island, just over the bridge from St. Augustine). House was clean, largely well-appointed, and was as-represented in the listing. However, it was hosted through Vacasa (rather than an actual host/owner). I missed this fact when booking, but I will avoid Vacasa in the future. All issues—from a missing coffee pot to a (false) fire alarm that wouldn’t turn off—had to be handled by texting or calling offshore customer service, where no one knew anything at all about the specific property and everyone offered useless solutions—“Did you try entering the PIN to stop the alarm?” [No, because none was provided anywhere in the house.]. “You can place the trash in the trash cans before checking out.” [No, I can’t, because there are no cans on the property other than the small ones in the house.].Not only was there no host to go to with questions; but there was also none of the information a host usually provides. No binder of house information and local recommendations, no detailed check-out instructions, etc. The closest-available equivalents were the laminated lists of generic Vacasa instructions posted by the doors—but they were obviously not specific to the property. All in all, this is a nice house with decent amenities in a nice location—but if you’re set on having access to a living, breathing host who pays attention to details between guests, provides information, and handles problems, steer clear of Vacasa.

A+ location, cute home

Relatively new remodel... very clean, nicely done.Bedss were extremely comfortable. We had everything we needed in kitchen..coffee maker, cups, toaster, glasses. The location was perfect..close enough to everywhere we wanted to go but at a reasonable rental price. Back yard patio was great for morning coffee however we did not use the hot tub. Washer and dryer was a bonus. A couple little issues that made NO difference to our enjoyment of our stay. Do not hesitate booking this property

Missing

The only thing I can say that wasent amazing is there was no iron, or no broom. I accidentally broke a glass and couldn’t clean it up because of not having a broom. I’m sorry

Quaint & Quiet Getaway

My family and I stayed in this home for our trip to see the Nights of Lights. It was the perfect location with it being walking distance to downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed walking over the Bridge of Lions to see the beautiful light display. The house was spacious and clean. It was just what we were looking for. The only that we had a slight issue with was the oven. The stovetop worked fine but the oven would not heat up. Someone was sent out to look at it but it was unable to be fixed during our stay. We made do without the oven for the remainder of our trip.

Great Family Home

My family came to St Augustine for a wedding and had a great experience at this property. The house is updated very nicely and has a great layout for the 5 of us that stayed here. Our little kids LOVED the backyard and spent hours finding lizards and playing in the grass. The location is super close to a number of restaurants/bars and places to visit like alligator farm and Anastasia Beach that the kids loved as well. Just be aware that the main way to and from the house from Jacksonville and the touristy part of St Augustine is over the Bridge of Lions which is a two lane drawbridge that frequently had a significant amount of traffic backed up to get through so plan accordingly if you have some place you need to be at a specific time that is going to take you through that area. Overall, we loved our stay and would be more than happy to stay again!

Wonderful stay at Salt & Light

This home had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in St Augustine. The historic downtown area was about a mile away, and the beaches of Anastasia Island and the Anastasia Island State Park were just a short drive away. We enjoyed several seafood restaurants in the area that were on or near the water. The home had comfortable beds and ample storage space. We appreciated the walk-in closet with many drawers, shelves and hangers to unpack our clothes during our stay, with plenty of room for our suitcases and other travel gear. There were plenty of thoughtful amenities provided, including hand soaps for the sinks, toilet paper, paper towels, soaps and shampoo, dishwasher tabs and dish soap in the kitchen with a brand new sponge for washing dishes, laundry soap and many spices, seasonings and oils in the kitchen. One of our favorite features was the fire pit in the backyard, along with the hammock. Being from the upper mid-west, it is not often we can sit outside and enjoy a fire in February. We would highly recommend this rental!

Nice house but constant issues

The house was very nice and clean when we arrived. The microwave broke within 30 minutes of us being there. I reached out and they brought a new one the next day. The pergola lights did not work so I reached out and they said they would send someone the next day which didn’t help us at the moment because we were leaving the next day. The hot tub was not hot at all. It would not get over 88 degrees. The house was nice and in a good location but I felt like every day there was a new issue.
