Cozy Log Cabin on Table Rock Lake - The Timbers Cabin #8
Welcome to the Cozy Log Cabin we call Greene Acres on Table Rock Lake. Newly renovated in 2020, a rustic log cabin in Shell Knob, MO - perfect place for lake goers, Branson lovers or those looking for a relaxing time in the Ozark Mountains. Our cabin includes a large new deck perfect for grilling and is a short walk to a secluded cove with a swimming dock. The cabin is 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, renovated full kitchen and a fireplace. The trail from the cabin to swimming deck on the community dock can be a little physical for some, but we are in a lake mountain area so this is normal. There are house rules to follow but these are pretty standard for Vrbo rentals like taking your trash to a dumpster at the end of your stay. The community HOA space includes laundry in the summer months, playground, hot tub and swimming pool when seasons allow. You can enjoy the HOA community space like the pool, hot tub and laundry but it is only a bonus to your staying at the cabin. We cannot guarantee the use of the outdoor swimming pool, hot tub or laundry as the HOA manages these amenities. If these amenities are in working order and the weather is good and they have not been winterized you are free to use them. If you have questions about any of the community HOA amenities please inquire about them and we can give you a current status update. There is limited boat trailer parking at the entrance of the community. There are no trailers of any kind allowed up to the individual cabins. Our cabin does not come with a boat slip.

This was perfect for our stay. We came to town for a fishing trip. Our guide was able to pick us up right at the dock. The property was just what we needed.
Property was very nicely stocked with the basic needs for our stay. Property was as described in listing. We really enjoyed the fire pit right by the cabin and the swimming pool. The large deck was nice with a large gas grill. Response from host was timely.
We loved our stay in this charming cabin for our Christmas vacation. The fireplace was so cozy and easy to load with firewood close by. Our kids loved all the games available to play. The outdoor spaces are in great shape and we loved being able to walk down to the water. We loved our time spent here.
We loved the cabin and location but the online information wasn't quite accurate. It wasn't necessarily the owner's fault but the listing showed the amenities as a washer and dryer, as well as a hot tub. These aren't located at the cabin but at the community center down the road. It is managed by the HOA and everything had been closed for the winter. Also, the listing shows some games but these are also at the community center and everything was broken and in a room with no heat. We enjoyed our stay, but the listing should be changed to "seasonal washer and dryer, hot tub, and games." You will also be expected to take the trash to the dumpster at the entrance of the neighborhood. In spite of these things, Jerome was great to work with and our grandkids loved the place.
This cabin was in a great location for those of us attending a family reunion. We were a mile from the hosting cousins. Really nice to hang out on the deck for morning coffee.

About the host
Hosted by Jerome Greene
We are from Western Kansas and love to come to our cabin all times of the year. We used to camp, but with our family expanding we needed more space so now we have a cabin in Missouri on Table Rock Lake. We love our cabin and enjoy the ability to let other families enjoy it as well to make great memories.
Why they chose this property
Our cabin is 1 of 16 cabins in this neighborhood. The cabins used to be part of the Timbers Resort and Lodge. This resort dissolved in 2020 and the cabins where purchased by many individuals some for homes and others for rentals. We chose to use as a getaway for our family in the summer and then rent it when we were not using it. The community came together as new owners and formed an HOA that has allowed us to keep the pool and other areas in great shape for all to use.
Before renting it out in 2020 we fully renovated the cabin with a new kitchen and new flooring and appliances. The deck was expanded to accommodate a dinning table, chairs, fire pit, and BBQ grill. A large fire pit and permanent corn-hole boards are located behind cabin.
What makes this property unique
This log cabin is a great atmosphere to relax in the woods. We can either swim in the pool or in our secluded cove in the summer. In the spring or early fall we can enjoy the large log fire pit behind the cabin, or the gas fire pit anytime on the front porch while on the porch swing. Hanging out at the cabin lets us relax and enjoy the great outdoors.
