The Space

Enjoy the outdoors with 1500 square feet of patio space, complete with a propane grill, outdoor dining tables, and a cozy fire pit lounge. Perfect for BBQs, games, and stargazing! The 7-acre property ensures privacy, immersing you in nature with surrounding woods, a seasonal creek, and wildlife sightings throughout the grounds.

Main Cabin Interior
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops and modern stainless steel appliances. The living room offers two comfortable couches, bar seating, and warm pine accents, with views of the seasonal creek. Relax and enjoy entertainment on the 65” Smart-TV.

Bedrooms
Bedroom 1: The primary suite features a King Bed with a medium firm mattress, a private full bath with a dual-headed shower, and a large walk-in closet.
Bedroom 2: This room has an XL Twin mattress and a desk, ideal for a remote workspace.
Bedroom 3: A Full over Full bunk bed with medium firm mattresses and a walk-in closet.
Bedroom 4: Located in the private in-law suite across the patio, the second-story suite includes a Queen Bed, a full bath, AC unit, and a 40” Smart-TV.

Bathrooms
There are 3 full bathrooms: two in the main cabin and one in the in-law suite. Both main cabin bathrooms feature dual-headed showers with stone tile. The hallway bathroom also offers a jacuzzi tub with ambiance lighting. The in-law suite bathroom includes a shower.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
-Check-out before 10:00 AM -Leave used beds unmade. - Please remove all trash to the dumpster (located past the gate)
-Please start the dishwasher with dirty dishes and cleaners will put dishes away upon arrival. -Please start a load of all dirty towels in the washing machine before departure.
-Please turn off AC/Heater, lights, and lock doors. -Text “Evan Trevino’s guests have checked out” to the cleaners at (559) 382-3070
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Plumbing runs on septic: only flush toilet paper, everything else in the trash bin, thank you
Keep pets off furniture, clean up after them, and pets must be accompanied by owner/guests and must be on a leash at all times when on the property.
If adventuring out for the day please turn off AC and lock doors behind you.

Fantastic stay, peaceful, quiet location. If you're bringing kids just know that the creek was mostly dried up this time of year (early June 2025). Beds were very comfortable. Thank you Evan for a great stay.

Had a wonderful time here with D&D friends. I love how much space it has to offer for larger groups. Lots of nature to view just outside the windows and really fun to explore. Everyone had so much fun and we're considering making this retreat an annual thing. :)

Really comfortable home with privacy

This was a nicely appointed home on 8 acres which felt very quiet and private for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well supplied with what we needed for meal prep. It was a bit of a drive to Yosemite Valley but the drive was scenic. We would definitely recommend this home for an extended family as we were 7 and had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Escape to the Woods

Although the power went out that night, we still had an over all great time. The creek has a nice sound to the background of the area. Not exactly forest! But way more Woods than backyard. Everyone had a great time, and the kitchen was amazing. Alot of fun activities in the garage. The board games are missing a few things, but we only know because the power was out. Alot of fun! Alot of space! Alot to explore!

Yosemite Trip

The place was very nice however the separate unit did not have the hot water on but the owner was quick to respond and we figured it out. That unit was also not very clean the sheets smelled unwashed and the shower was musty and had mildew. The floors of the kitchen in the main house were sticky and dirty we had to clean them and the towels were left in the dryer for us to fold and they smelled unwashed. Overall i would stay there again it was a little bit of a ride to the park entrance but had plenty of space for us and our family to have room to be separate or together and the property was very peaceful.

“Cabin” is a modest term for this luxurious retreat that has everything a guest could want. The layout is ideal for a group vacation with friends or family who enjoy cooking and dining together, watching movies on the huge flatscreen TV, and taking day trips to Yosemite, Bass Lake, and other beautiful nearby destinations.The property feels wonderfully private—you’re surrounded by acres of land and can’t see any neighbors. The large deck is perfectly set up for outdoor living, featuring comfortable furniture, two dining tables, strings of fairy lights, a propane fire pit, and a spacious gas grill. It’s an inviting space for enjoying warm evenings outdoors.Inside, the kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, plenty of pots, pans, and dishes—everything you need to prepare just about any meal. There’s ample space throughout, including a walk-in pantry, large closets, and a comfortable dining area that flows seamlessly into the living room with the TV. Nice big house near Yosemite NP

We had a big, extended family group that needed a place to stay near Yosemite where we planned to hike. The Creekside Cabin exceeded our expectations. There was tons of space and the game room got heavy usage. Everything was clean, everything worked. We couldn't have been more satisfied.

Summer stay

The house was great, sadly no water in the creek… but kind of assumed this since it has been, and was very warm (maybe next time)! No kitchen hand towels or washcloths? Beds were a little uncomfortable. A lot of wildlife….even saw a bobcat in the creek bed! Overall it was a great stay, not far from Oakhurst, and very easy to find.

A must stay

Check-in was delayed due to the cleaners running late and the owner told us to go to dinner on him! It was very much appreciated! The property is beautiful. The deck is even better than pictures. The beds were comfortable. The upgrades throughout the house were a delight. It is well situated between Yosemite and Bass Lake. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!! We had 4 adults and 4 children.

We had a fantastic stay at Evan’s house! The location is very convenient about 35min drive to the South Gate entrance to Yosemite National Park. The house is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could need. Having 3 bathrooms was a huge plus for our group with 6 adults and 2 kids. Evan was a great host—responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay near Yosemite! The only caveat I would offer is I booked the house through Expedia, and my Vrbo app couldn't load my booking information but I was still able to message Evan with Vrbo.

Nice little get away

I planned this little trip to surprise my kids. It was all very last minute. Was amazed at how quickly the property owner replied to my request. When we arrived everything was just so beautiful. Very secluded place, which I loved oh so very much. My kids were very happy and loved the fact that there was so many board games to choose from. They loved their little hikes they went around the property. The sky view at night was just so beautiful. Loved how the cabin was equipped with everything all we had to take was our groceries and our will to enjoy every single bit of our stay at this cabin. If you live out in the city and want to get away from everything. This is the place to go. I’m sure you will love and enjoy everything just as much as my family and I did. Will definitely be going back sometime in the future.
