About this property

This one bedroom home has everything needed for a comfortable and convenient stay in Memphis. Perfect for couples or solo travelers. Our home is just a few miles from everywhere you want to be in Memphis: Overton Square, Cooper Young, Downtown, and more. We're a 5 min. walk from Overton Park.
The space
The Forest Ave is a recently fully remodeled duplex. The home has a spacious kitchen, one large bedroom, a full bath, and a comfortable living and dining area. Guests are welcome to the fully appointed kitchen and are free to use the the brand new washer and dryer as needed. We also have a dedicated work from home space.
Guest access
You'll have the full access to your unit, to yourself, with access to the bedroom closet and drawer space, work from home desk, couch, fully stocked kitchen, and in-unit washer and dyer. Guests can help themselves to coffee and are welcome to binge-watch Netflix on the 50 inch flatscreen tv or sign into your other streaming apps with our high speed internet.
Other things to note
Our home is in the center of Memphis & very convenient to many attractions and restaurants. However, with this convenience also comes aspects of city life, namely noise from time to time. For safety and security we have a ring security camera on our front porch and backyard that are always on.

We have easy check in with smart door locks.

Convenient city rental close to Memphis Zoo and Overton Park

Very clean space located close to zoo and Overton Park area. Lots of nice unique dinner destinations within a short drive. Host was very responsive as soon as we booked and readily available throughout stay. One parking space but additional curbside parking. Few steps to get up to house if using a cane or handicap aids.

Very clean

The property was well maintained. This is a duplex and the people next to us smoked and their smoke detector chirped all day and night. The microwave did not work and the thermostat seemed to have a mind of its own. The people next to us also locked us out which caused us anxiety everytime we went out. The property manager always got back to us quickly. To be fair its not their fault our neighbors smoked and I did not complain for fear of retaliation from those neighbors. The microwave does work, but you must push the door closed harder than I am use to. We only needed the thermostat to work to get the smoke out of our unit. My roommate has asthma. Next time I will rent a stand alone home.

Good visit

I wish parking was a bit better. One space available in front of the house and one on the side. Someone with an Arkansas took over the driveway parking. No towels or rugs available in the bathroom. There was a loose floorboard in the bathroom as well. No other concerns. Would definitely look at this property as an option if ever in Memphis.

Beautiful Home Away from Home

The pictures do not give this place justice. This place is in the heart of Memphis, accessible to everything, Overton Park/Brooks Museum right around the corner. Customer service was impeccable. The inside was newly renovated, bed was clean and comfy. I enjoyed binge watching in the living room after cooking breakfast. Thanks Bunches!!
