Come enjoy all midtown has to offer in our newly renovated carriage house apartment directly across the street from Overton Park, the Levitt Shell, the Memphis Zoo and the Brooks Art Museum. This charming apartment has a fully stocked kitchen, private washer dryer, brand new bathroom, and accent wall dividing a comfortable living space from a cozy bedroom. We're located on the only street in Memphis that faces Overton Park, and close to the great night life and restaurants of Overton Square.
The space:
Our cottage is the ideal spot for those looking to enjoy an amazing season of free concerts at the Shell, our city's wonderful zoo, and all of Memphis' great events in a safe & quiet atmosphere. We're available as needed in the main house to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and our newly renovated cottage has been lovingly updated with all the comforts of home.
Along with the fully stocked kitchen, washer dryer (with detergent) and easily adjustable heat/air unit, we've also provided a new TV with Sling and Roku - allowing access to a wide variety of popular channels for your viewing pleasure.
Guest access:
We will be in touch with each guest to review the details of check in and check out procedure. You will have sole access to the cottage, and on street parking, which is generally ample.
Interaction with guests:
We will be available throughout your stay to address any issues or needs, but want to give our guests privacy and space.
The neighborhood:
Cottage on the Park is located in a safe, sought-after area of Midtown directly across from Overton Park. Overton Park is a 342-acre public park which contains a nine-hole public golf course, the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, the Memphis Zoo, the Memphis College of Art, the Levitt Shell, Rainbow Lake, Veterans Plaza, the Greensward, two playgrounds, and the 126-acre Old Forest State Natural Area. The Brooks Museum of Art is the oldest and largest art museum in Tennessee, and the Memphis Zoo is one of the highest ranked zoos in the US. The Levitt Shell is where Elvis first played and holds more than 50 free concerts a year at its outdoor amphitheater.
Rhodes College, The University of Memphis and Christian Brothers University are also in close proximity.
This Cottage is also very close to all of Memphis’ downtown attractions where you will find the world famous Beale Street, Sun Studios, Peabody Hotel, the Gibson Guitar Museum, the Fed-Ex Forum where the Memphis Grizzlies play, the Redbirds Baseball Stadium, and the largest Bass Pro in the United States, located in The Pyramid overlooking the Mississippi River.
Getting around:
Street parking is generally abundant, and we are very close to all of the great restaurants and night life of midtown.

We're very accessible and down to earth. We love walking in Overton Park, jogging the trails in the Old Forest and checking out live music at the Levitt Shell - luckily our house is a stone's throw from all of these great activities. We also enjoy checking out local foods, traveling and supporting our Memphis Grizzlies!
