Why Dane Smith chose Pinch District
Neighborhood is called Uptown and is simply charming with nice wide sidewalks and all homes newly built around 2005 . Home away from Home
i think this is my third visit to this property. I still absolutely love it. Its very open, welcoming and modern. The parking is great. The neighbors are nice and the loft area with the balcony outside is My Happy Place. Its the only home on the block with a balcony outside. The corner location is easy to find. The bedding is amazing.
It's a beautiful home, and the perfect location.
We are planning on visiting again, will definitely book this home again. Excellent experience in Memphis.
Bringing in New Years in Memphis
After reading all the reviews dating back to 2018–I can only echo most of these and do not have much more to add. Very comfortable and spacious. great as the four of us we’re not tripping over each other space was important to us. comfortable- very much— beds were in great shape. everything that we needed— yes —change of towels— and ability to wash linen if we felt the need to. didn’t have to go out and purchase lots of incidentals that was needed. just replenish what was already there— paper towels, coffee stuff. didn’t need to go to the grocery store the first night. Very artsy! love the decor very gender neutral colors—I have some ideas for my home since we have similar Color scheme. I love it that the pictures on the web are up-to-date as it shows exactly what we were expecting upon arrival. that’s very important to not be surprised. if things change over time. Occasionally pictures do not get updated. The owner was “Johnny on the spot” to respond to all questions/concerns . that is important— if we were at a hotel we would expect it from the front desk and this was no exception. Duane was quick to respond with whatever questions we had. And now for the TV— yes we have Hulu and Netflix and all these other PP programs however missing the sports channels and basic cable for local news and information was disappointing.
For sure, there are sports packages but even our Hulu sports package did not carry the East Coast games we were looking to see.
Just FYI—we would have paid extra for the ESPN or even regular cable that would carry some of these games.
Yes, I recognize ESPN is expensive however for us sports fans we would have paid whatever was asked for the Eagles and the Ravens games and we were looking to see on Sunday. actually, once you take the monthly fee and spread it out amongst all the renters for that month the fee would be a few pennies and absolutely I’m sure would add very little to that nightly cost of the home. IJS.
I/we have absolutely no complaints about this home only praises to the owner for our experience and what we were offered for the price. Just a very strong suggestion to add basic cable (and ESPN). would we come again and highly however if there are sports that must be seen during the stay
—that would be a dealbreaker.
Be sure to visit during pecan harvest time—this was a bonus for this pecan lover.
thanks Again Duane you be blessed. ,,,,
