We stayed for 4 nights during Christmas . The house was clean and comfy ! Had everything we needed. I even asked for snow and wow ! They produced ! Will definitely be back !
Our family really enjoyed this place. It is well appointed, clean, and has good space. The check-in process was simple and there is dedicated parking right by the entrance.
We were visiting family in nearby Hubbardston and were quite pleased with having a spacious, clean place to come back to every evening. I'll definitely look this place up again the next time we are in the area!
This is an ideal place to stay in lovely Barre, MA.
The owner communicated well and we had such a nice stay. We were in town for a family wedding and this home was situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood close to shopping and Dunkin Donuts :)
We had a wonderful time using this as our base for skiing at Wachusett. Everything we could have asked for was available, including the fully equipped kitchen and laundry, and our host was super responsive.
Very nice house, quiet neighborhood. Close to some very cute small town Massachusetts restaurants. The listing mentioned a/c but there was none. Also owner lives in the other part of the house, which was also not described on the property's VRBO page.
A couple friends and I stayed for a long weekend to play local disc golf and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved how spacious, comfortable, and clean Christopher's place was and were thankful to each have our own bedroom. Will definitely be back!
The cleaning fees seem high, but the place is spotless. Not much for hotels in the area, so this is a decent spot.

This house was comfortable, clean, quiet and absolutely perfect in every way.
We appreciated the delicious coffee the next morning.
The owner of this property thought of everything.
PERFECT!
The house is quaint and immaculate with an accessible Host. The area is peaceful and the neighbors were fantastic. Nice to enjoy the lovely landscape in full bloom and the surrounding area in Petersham.
We were quite comfortable staying in this beautiful rental for the night along with our pup. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and cozy. Kitchen had everything you needed and we made our breakfast using supppies provided. Close proximity to a variety of fun activities.
My husband and I, our 15 month old and 2 dogs needed a place to stay on short notice while work was being done on our house. This place was exactly what we needed. And the property owner was incredibly helpful by allowing us to stay despite me booking it for the wrong week!
The whole place was very nice and well-stocked with toiletries and other essentials. Being the cook of the family, my main impression was of the kitchen. Spacious, stocked with cookware, a powerful gas stove, and with a peninsular countertop between the kitchen area and living room so you can cook without being completely separated from your family.
This was a very nice apartment, quiet, clean and had everything we needed; plenty of towels and kitchen accessories.
The problem was it seemed to be set up for winter, wool bedding and no air conditioning in the bed rooms.
One of the best places I’ve stayed! My father was raised in Barre and we often have to stay in Gardner when we visit. It was amazing to not have to drive 20+ minutes to get to my cousins farm.
The house feels like home. The beds were all comfortable. It was nice to be able to spread out and have enough space for everyone to relax. Couldn’t have asked for a better situation or host! I will definitely be booking again.
We gave an overall 4 star - stay. We had a great trip and stay. Home was very clean. This is a duplex house so we did hear the neighbors coming and going - up and down their stairs. Check in process was a bit rough as our gps was not taking us to exact location. Be mindful of numbers on homes not in any kind of consecutive purpose. The house number was very small and could not be seen in the dark. 5 stars to the owner as he answered our late night call and assisted us with finding the home. We thank you for our stay and look forward to returning.
Lovely neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful. Home is rather large considering it’s a duplex. I was surprised to find out I rented a duplex. Listing does not mention this. However, the neighbors that shared the other side of this home were rarely there. You didn’t hear much. Our stay was very lovely. The only thing that would have been nice is the usage of a grill. Listing says “grill”. Didn’t feel like going through the hassle, so I didn’t push the issue. There are two air conditioners in the unit. One on the main floor and the other is upstairs. There are 3 bedrooms. Only one bedroom has an AC. If you want to cool down the upstairs, you must leave all the doors open to the rooms so it cools down. You will not have any privacy if you do this, something to keep in mind. The bedroom was quite cozy and roomy. Love the closet space. Bathrooms were great as well! Everything worked as it should with no complaints. There’s a park and soccer field not more than a block or two from the house. Super cute, old school playground.
