Great location to walk downtown. The house was perfect for the 3 of us each having our own bedroom. Kitchen and bathroom was well stocked. First floor apartment with the back porch was a nice and quiet place to unwind each night.

Thanksgiving Extra Space

This property was lovely, clean and comfortable. Plus it provided us with the cooking equipment and great counter space that we needed to prepare our dishes for Thanksgiving at our relative’s home later that day. It also has a nice big tv to watch the Macy’s Day parade. Neighborhood was quiet and walking distance to downtown.

This being my 1st experience I was kind of nervous. Turned out to be an amazing experience. House was nice and had more than I expected. It was just like staying at home. We had a deck to sit out on and enjoy ourselves. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful Space

Recently stayed here for a wedding, the space looks newly remodeled and comfortably fit 6 adults. Although our kids were not with us, there was a crib, a pack n’ play, and some toys already there. First floor apartment so easy entry and plenty of parking.

Perfect Fit

Check in was super easy! GPS took us right there. Directions were super clear to get inside. This place was just what we needed. It had the perfect amenities. I brought my son’s family that has 4 kids under 7. We didn’t spend much time at the house but there is a tiny piano that the kids loved playing. There is a bench seat at the table that was perfect for the little ones to sit at. There was a play pen and a crib to use. We came to Maine to visit the beaches. It was about a 25 min drive to Wingersheek Beach and Long Beach. There are a couple of nice beach chairs for you to use. There is a nice back entry area where we could take our sandy clothes and shoes off to not spread sand through the house. We absolutely loved the shower head!! The towels were soft and they smelled amazingly clean. Everyone slept well. Each room has its own air conditioning unit. There were lots of extra blankets. The house, although old did not have any bad odor. It was very, very clean!! We were all very sad to leave. We did not spend any time in Ipswich but noticed lots of places we would like to eventually come back to visit.

Impressed with this property! Although you can tell its an older building, there are very clearly updated renovations in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Plenty of space, including a spacious living room and outdoor deck area. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully equipped. Very much would recommend!

Great spot easy to downtown

I was bringing my dad up to visit the area one more time and this apartment was perfect.Nice and large, back deck, easy to everything, beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed itIt is an old building so you do hear the upstairs walking but that is normal for an old home andI just turned the fan sound on and slept well.

Overall this was a great place to stay. It was plenty spacious for the three of us and we felt comfortable while we stayed here. The only issue we had was that our last morning early am there was a lot of stomping around coming from upstairs. But it was not occurring the entire stay. The shower water didn’t appear to get super warm either. The host was attentive and response, and it was within walking distance to some shops and restaurants. We would absolutely book again. Thanks for the great stay.

Halloween Horror - noisiest place ever

NOISEY, NOISEY, NOISEY, definitely not the quiet rental it was supposed to be. This APARTMENT, yes it’s a 3 bedroom downstairs apartment that is listed as a house here, but there are 2 other apartments upstairs in this building. Unfortunately, it’s not ideal if you sleep in on vacation as you hear everything from upstairs, yes EVERYTHING, from flushing, walking, showers, and the occasional furniture moving. When the apartment above us was being cleaned it was like the person was vacuuming right in our apartment, very loud. The stairs going up to the apartment above us were creeky and you can hear very well all the noise they make when they go up and down them to go in or out of the building. My husband and I were awakened to the loud noises of hammering halfway through our stay which when I called the owner Wanderson he said I should call the other owner Ozzy which I did and both reported that they were unaware of the remodeling, so I reported it to VRBO, who just emailed the owners about the complaint. Also, the radiator in the first bedroom where the crib is located didn’t work and the sliding glass door to the back it’s lock needs repaired as it is broken and just has a door chain lock that was creepy as the door can be opened from the outside until the chain stops. With all the issues we encountered especially the noise, unfortunately we wouldn’t recommend.
