Nature`s finest! Enjoy a memorable experience at the historic Thunderhead Lodge. This beautiful vacation rental is the Main Home on the resort which accommodates up to 11 people. The additional, rustic, traditional 'Up North' cottages accommodate 4 guests each.The beach area offers a spectacular view of Butternut Lake and a lakeside dock to enjoy fishing. There are picnic tables and a firepit down by the beach to enjoy roasting marshmallows and having family gatherings.
Butternut Lake is 1,006 acres in size and has a maximum depth of 32 feet. Species of fish include musky, northern, walleye, largemouth bass, small mouth bass, panfish and sturgeon. Pets welcome for an additional fee.
