This was our 3rd year here. Beautiful place! Quite, relaxing and the best stocked cooking essentials in any kitchen we have had for a rental. Grandsons loved the fishing off the dock, few middle size fish caught and lots of small ones. They were all caught and released but fun was had. Close to Marshall and Jefferson. The weather was great. Will definitely try to go back next year.

My family and I rented this cabin for a weekend get away. The pictures did not do it justice. It was beautiful! The AC worked great, plenty of parking the Doc was really nice and fit all 8 people fishing comfortably. The beds were comfortable. 10 out of 10 recommended. We will definitely keep this one on the list for our next Caddo trip.

Excellent property! We brought our family here for spring break. The home was immaculately clean inside and out. Grandkids enjoyed the deck, SLIDE and fire pit! Was a great central location for exploring the Caddo Lake ecosystem and area: lake tours, Jefferson for the day, hiking and canoing at Caddo Lake State Park.

This is our second stay at the Eagle’s Nest and it was even better than the first amazing stay! We brought our twin 11 year old granddaughters who asked if we could “stay there for every vacation forever.” We fished daily and diligently; had 20 fish by the last night for our fish fry! We also spent HOURS in the bayou making use of the giant green float and the high yellow slide along with creating joy-filled memories that we will always have in our hearts and minds. The house looks like it should be featured in a Texas Monthly feature on beautiful waterfront homes in Texas…and it’s the most comfortable place we’ve ever stayed in all of our travels. The kitchen has everything you might need to prepare any meal and there are great places to eat nearby. Also, Instacart delivers to the house from Marshall and Jefferson. Thinking about choosing the Eagle’s Nest for your vacay? Do it!!! It’s amazing!!!

We had a wonderful time! It was very welcoming, spacious open concept kitchen, dining, and living area. The decks were wonderful for relaxing while overlooking the water. The extra cabin was great for a quiet place but yet very close by. All spaces were clean and well maintained. Our family really enjoyed our time at The Eagles Nest!

The perfect Caddo getaway!

Love the place! It's right down the road from Big Pines Lodge and just a short drive from Shady Glade Cafe. It's on one of the wider parts of Caddo making it easy to swim without being worried about boat traffic. The water is nice and deep, everyone had a blast using the slide and diving! Coming from a local, I'd suggest this house for anyone looking for a vacation or even a stay-cation like we did!

This was our 2nd year to stay here. This house has something for everyone. Grandsons loved fishing no keepers this time but they loved it anyway, from sun up to sunset they were on the deck fishing. One grandson said everyone needed a swinging chair! We hope to make it a yearly adventure.
