Known as the birthplace of Frank Sinatra and Baseball, the waterfront city of Hoboken has a charm of its own and it an absolute must visit on your NYC trip! It's also the perfect place for those travel with family and groups and looking for space. Our home offers 4 huge rooms and 3 full baths. One of the room is located on the first floor and the other 3 are on the second floor. We have both front and back yards.
We are located at a very quiet residential neighborhood. Parking are free for 4 hours around the house. If you want overnight parking you should park your car by the Rail on the Ninth Street Station. There are plenty of overnight parking. You can drop everyone off at the house then go park 2 blocks away.
Our house is newly renovated in the year of 2020, through out the house there are many windows with arrays of sunlight.
Outside is your private front/backyard - -perfect for summer BBQ with family.
Our first floor requires climbing stairs so it's not a good fit for groups with elderly.
This is a residential and family friendly area. The neighbors tends to have parties that are rather muted. We ask that you please respect this and keep from loud chatter and laughing when outdoors. Parties are prohibited under all circumstances - if neighbors complain, you will be ask to leave immediately.

We really liked the house, comfortable rooms, and the nearby grocery store and liquor store. I'd also like to highlight the ease of getting to NYC. The bus stop is close to the house, and the ease of returning from NYC. The bus drops you off right at the door.

The place had enough beds for the five of us. The house needs a fresh coat of paint as it seems like there are patchwork fixes in some areas of the home. The kitchen faucet broke and though the host said their cleaners fixed it, however they just found a temp “fix” (the faucet still fell off when being used). It made doing dishes very hard. Also, beware of the washing machine - the machine does NOT have cold water and our handwash/cold water only clothes shrunk (even on a hand wash, tap cold setting). The host’s solution was to have us turn off the hot water to the machine. Needless to say, we did not do any more laundry as we are not plumbers and didn’t want to turn off the hot water in the house. The backyard is overgrown and not a comfortable experience (dodging overgrown trees/weeds, looking into neighbor’s backyards)The place was what we needed, a place to sleep and eat.
We stayed here over a long weekend with family. The place was big enough for everyone to have their space. The neighborhood was fantastic with parks for kids close by and shops for food etc. We would definitely stay again.
Good for a large group, recommending no cars if possible as parking is available, but very hard to find.

We aren't a super picky group so overall the place served its purpose to keep 7 people under one roof and at a reasonable price. The stay was fine. Pros- -Decent location, you can get to coffee shops, trains and markets with a short walk. Close to a park and train stations. -Air conditioners work. -Beds were extremely comfortable. -House price is good for multiple nights but it is a no-frills stay with decent decor and basic essentials. Cons- -Outside looks rough, not a well kept home from the outside, and its on a busy street. -There was random trash in front of the property and trash cans are right in front. -Steps are wooden and worn.- Inside Covers were on both sofas and the pots and pans were found in the stove. We did have ALL the alarms go off when we used the showers and they continued into the evening. Had to message the owner and she instructed us to remove all of the fire alarms because it was late at night. She communicated well and even called just not the best of circumstances the night before a race with an early morning. Would help if there was a rules book to help make sure we got everying back as it needed to be. No extra trash bags could be found and no tissue.(Super minor but these are the little things)Aesthetically lots of things could be improved. Would I stay here again? Honestly, not sure.
Layout and size was good for a family of 8. Linens some kitchen essentials were nothing fancy but served the purpose for a short stay. Would definitely rent again.
