The expansive sun deck provides an excellent vantage point to observe wildlife and immerse yourself in the breathtaking vistas of the Sierra Nevada mountains. While the retreat offers a peaceful ambiance away from the bustle of the town, you'll only be minutes away from restaurants and shopping, ensuring convenience and variety.

With easy access to Tollhouse Road, you can effortlessly explore the wonders of Shaver Lake, Huntington Lake, and China Peak Ski Resort. Whether you seek outdoor adventures or prefer a tranquil mountain retreat, the Eagle Retreat is the perfect base for your unforgettable getaway.

The Neighborhood

Located just south of Shaver Lake Village, in the Musick Falls neighborhood.  Walk to multiple trails and Musick Creek! 5-10 minute drive to Shaver Lake, and just over 30 minutes to China Peak Ski Resort and Huntington Lake.  Rent water sports gear, kayaks, boats, etc. at the first dock just minutes away!  While you're in town, check out Mono Hot Springs, Dinkey Creek Honeymoon Pools, and Rancheria Falls!  The Shaver area is a community, rich in generations of family memories and natural beauty. Shaver Lake is a popular lake for water sports activities. Water skiing, jet skis and windsurfing are some of the activities available at this mountain lake. Canoe and kayak enthusiasts will find many out of the way coves and miles of shoreline to explore.

House Rules

1. Communication is key! To ensure a smooth experience, check-in time begins at 4 pm, and we kindly request that check-out is completed by 11 am. Our office hours are from 8 am to 9 pm, so please communicate any inquiries or arrival plans between these hours. If you anticipate arriving after 9 pm, please inform us in advance.

2.  Honesty is the best policy! Let us know about ALL guests who will be coming to the house.

3. No unauthorized parties! Please treat Eagle Retreat as if it's your own. It's large, but it is not set up for a lot of people, please do not bring more people than stated. No smoking of any kind. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking, smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.

4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (patio, bbq, garage), and other provided amenities, please clean up after yourself so the next guests can enjoy them as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it.

5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. If our offering doesn't align with your expectations, please let us know your preferences, and we will be happy to guide you in the right direction. While unforeseen circumstances may occur, we will always do our best to ensure you have an exceptional time. With the exception of things out of our control, we'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time!

6.  Embrace the local way! Please refrain from leaving trash outside, as it may attract bears and other wild animals. There is a provided trash bin for your convenience, let us know if it's needed during your stay and we will direct you to it.
