We enjoyed our stay immensely. The sleeping situation was perfect for us. The kitchen and dining area on the second level was also just the best. Location to the strip was so convenient. Two kitchens for this size of a house is a must.

We loved staying at this house. We had 10 adults and 4 kids and there was more than enough room to spead out but also very nice spaces for when we gathered. Having two kitchens and the elevator was really nice. We spent a ton of time on the dock swimming and just hanging out Everything was nice, clean and easy at this house!

The property was gorgeous, exactly as the listing described it, if not better. The set up of the whole entire place was super thoughtful from the speakers outside to the chargers in most of the rooms for our phones. The beds were comfortable, the linen was luxurious, the ice machine was perfect and kept our drinks cold all week while we lounged in the lounge chairs on the deck. The host was helpful when I asked for recommendations and quick to respond. There was so much room in the property, would definitely rebook here.

Beautiful spot on the lake

This home offers a Great Lake view, awesome outdoor space for entertaining. Plenty of room to cook with two full kitchens. Fits 12 adults comfortably. Home is in great condition and well cared for. Would stay again

Incredible Property

We absolutely loved this property. It was a great fit for our girls trip. We spent most of our time outside in the back deck bar and in the water. There was more than enough space for the 13 of us to spread out and not feel on top of each other. More than one of our party truly hope to rent this house again. Communication with the host was easy, prompt, and friendly. Highly recommend!

Amazing Family Home

We were a group of 3 families. The property had plenty of room for us to spread out both inside and outside. Beautiful sunsets. Large dock with lounge chairs for tanning, lots of room to float (when the boats went by we had our own little wave pool), and great fishing. The outside bar was also a favorite place to relax in the shade with a great view of the lake. We have rented a few house in the Lake of the Ozarks and this is now on the top of our list.

The BEST time in Laken of the Ozarks

100% recommend! 4 families stayed — 8 adults, 8 kids This home had EVERYTHING we needed — space for each family, TWO full kitchens, 2 laundry rooms, 2 bunk rooms, steps from a large, private dock, and an elevator!! We LOVED the outdoor bar, the pool table, the decks off every level. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C units kept us very cool and comfortable in the crazy heat. Right off the Bagnell Dam Strip - visited Tucker Shucker’s, Malt Monkey and the Arcade. Communication w/ the owner was top notch. He recommended Dog Days Restaurant - it was SO fun. We already have plans to return next summer! We were in town for the Youth World Series at Ballparks National. An amazing 1st experience at Lake of the Ozarks. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Annual Extended Family Vacation

Bare Foot Retreat is a great house! The space accommodated us wonderfully, and the outside space was amazing, too! The outside bar area was a favorite, and we spent much of our home time there. Having an ice machine in the bar area was also a great accommodation. The dock area is excellent as well. However, the dock's location to the main channel creates rough water for swimming around and tying a boat up to the outside of the dock. We enjoyed the vast number of games the house provided, and the proximity to Bagnell Strip was great, too! My only complaint was that the house was not thoroughly cleaned upon arrival. I contacted the house manager, who was accommodating and understood our disappointment. A cleaning crew came back and cleaned it to everyone's standards. I would stay at this house again! I highly recommend it for a large family get-together.

Super cute property on the lake. We had more than enough room for our group of people with multiple spaces for different activities. Amenities were super convenient. Having two kitchens made for a quick and easy dinner! Host was super communicative and kind!
