Hosted by Sugar Pines Property Management
Cleaning
We handle all of the cleanings after every guest stay. We make sure that each home is clean and
sanitized to create a refreshing environment for our guests. Certain things are cleaned after ever
stay like the toilets, showers, sinks, kitchen, and floors. Others will be alternated like dusting,
cobwebs, patio/deck sweeping, and more. We inspect the homes on a regular basis and will
schedule a deep clean at least once per year.
Linen Cleaning
We wash and dry all linens at each turn-over that includes sheets, pillowcases, bathmats, and bath
towels (large bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths) at the property.
Accounting/Taxes/Reports
Did you know that you are required to pay Transient Occupancy Tax in both Madera or Mariposa
Counties for short-term rentals? We collect, report, and disperse all of these taxes on your behalf.
The check that you receive is the NET amount after all taxes and fees. Also, we are NOT certified
tax preparers, but please note that the IRS heavily favors short-term rental owners. Everything
from the property management fee you pay, monthly supply fee, deep cleaning service, utilities,
etc. are all typically deductions for you. Please seek advice from a tax professional to take
advantage of all the things offered to you!
Guest Relations
We handle all potential guest and guest communication. Everything from inquiries, check-in and check-out procedures, guest questions, and maintenance calls (during guest stays). We do not bother about receiving a call at midnight because the WIFI stopped working or receiving a text message from someone asking where the first-aid kit is. We promptly communicate and make sure the guest has everything they need for a memorable vacation and we pride ourselves on the positive feedback we receive from our rentals.
