The beach cottage is absolutely perfect! My husband and I stayed with our 2 pups. Perfect location for beaches, rail trail, restaurants, etc.
Cottage and community was clean and quiet. Mary was so helpful when we needed extra towels and any questions! Can’t wait to come back.
We loved this property. It met our needs perfectly. I was in town for a seminar in Orleans, and my husband and pup were with me to enjoy everything that Cape Cod offers. This property was located right off of US 6, which made it easily accessible for all of our adventures. We were never too far from "home". We made it to Provincetown, Chatham, Brewster, Orleans, and more. We were able to enjoy wonderful restaurants, beaches, trails, and more.
We were also VERY well taken care of by the property manager, and the owners checked in with us a couple of times to make sure we were good. The property itself had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
Very cozy and rustic little bungalow cottage.
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and greatly appreciate Mary's welcome! There was plenty of room for the two of us and we a well stocked cottage for the a few days on the Cape. The location is convenient but the cottage is right on Hwy 6 so the road is busy. There is a cluster or cottages around the grassy yard so there are other people in close proximity but it was a friendly and calm atmosphere.
Cottage was clean, completely bug free, cozy, comfortable and centrally located! Loved Eastham and found it to be close to everything including some amazing local restaurants! We will be back!

About the host

We connect to nature. Hiking, biking, skiing, surfing or just relaxing and taking in the wonder of it. We enjoy books and films. And all of us love to travel and experience new places and meet people who have stories to tell. Paul and I and our son, Kenneth live in Los Angeles and work in film. We value the craft of what we do and the storyteller.
Why they chose this property
This cottage is stunning. Dramatic, beautiful and situated in nature. We love the trees and the ample size of the vintage cottage. It was originally a two bedroom and then it was converted to a vaulted large studio loft space. At nearly 600 square feet it feels expansive. It has great vintage touches most notably the soap stone sink which is incredible! The fireplace and the furnishings complete the warm, welcoming classic cottage experience.
What makes this property unique
The cottage is near Fort Hill at the famed National Seashore . Fort Hill is one of those alluring spots, and every time we visit, we feel grateful that we can come here. The Fort Hill Trail winds and weaves through trees and the marsh area. You feel instantly transported to a jungle adventure and a million miles away from everything. The panoramic views provide sights of the ocean and Nauset marsh. You will feel transported to a majestic place, full of beauty and peace.
