I WAS THE DEVELOPER'S REAL ESTATE BROKER AT HONUA KAI FROM 2009 to 2016 when we sold out! I am also a licensed attorney in both Hawaii (Bar No. 8295-voluntary inactive) and California (Bar No 178241-voluntary inactive). This explanation may help since Honua Kai can be confusing. The construction of the Luana Townhouses is 100% complete, Honua Kai is now 700 individually owned condominiums that belong to a Homeowners Association. Honua Kai is not a hotel. Every owner chooses to either use the onsite management which is now Outrigger or they choose an outside rental company (ORC). Outrigger is not the "Resort" they're just the onsite management company. Now they own the front desk area and some other areas at Honua Kai, but all guests have access to the pools, restaurant, stores, Spa, fitness center and concierge.
This studio is located in the inner courtyard of the Hokulani Building. It over looks the Hokulani pool and the tiki torches. It's 583 sq ft with a 100 sq ft lanai. The view is incredible. Look at the pictures. Imagine that view with the complimentary bottle of champagne and the Maui chocolate covered macadamia nuts we provide.
Please take a look at our photos and you'll see that they are actual pictures of the unit and upon your arrival you will say that the pictures do not do this place justice. If you want to make your trip special this is the unit for you.
UPON DEPARTURE YOU LEAVE YOUR KEYS ON THE COUNTER AND GO.
We offer the following:
-With us you rent unit Hokulani 733, you don't rent a category and find out what you get when you arrive at the front desk. That 's because you don't have a front desk and with us you get actual pictures of the unit and the actual view from the unit. -Free Internet -No worrying about when the maid service is going to interrupt your day since we don't offer housekeeping. -We personally see that this unit is cleaned to our high standards. -Use of swimming pool, exercise room, and concierge service. We also provide beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, paper products and binoculars. -The Staff at Honua Kai Condominiums will treat you like you're sitting in the first class cabin. -Charge all resort costs on your credit card. -Our Aloha Welcome Package which includes 8 kueirig like coffee pods, Chilled Champagne, Hawaiian Chocolates, Terra Pure Green Tea Shampoo and Soaps. -Either the bellman or I will greet you at the bell desk and escort you to the unit. - We take your stay personally, so anything that comes up, we will do our best to take care of it. We want you happy and we want you back! -We are fortunate to Live Aloha everyday and our goal is for our guests to Live Aloha while they are our guests. Whether it's just another trip to Maui or the only trip you'll ever take to Maui, our mission is to make it special.
The bellmen are all real good guys that work hard that are ready to assist you with your luggage up to the unit.
Right now self parking and valet parking are free. That is always subject to change and we'll do our best to let you know if that changes. Only one car per unit is allowed in the underground parking garage. This is subject to change.

We enjoyed our stay very much in H733. The view was beautiful and we were very comfortable. The single lavatory in the bath and a smaller closet were the only downgrades from another studio unit we have stayed in.
We had a wonderful stay at this superb property and great host. Everything was just as described- incredible view, immaculate unit and appliances, and great amenities. Host was extremely friendly and very detailed- every question was answered before we needed to ask. Very highly recommended!
View was beautiful, could watch the whales from the balcony. Joe with the property management company was great. The resort is starting to look dated. Needs some cosmetic upgrades. The kitchen was fully stocked but did not have any BBQ utensils. This is a perfect unit for 2. Be mindful when you go. During peak season unless you want to get up at 6 and go get pool chairs you will not get one. Lounge chairs are not padded like most of the other resorts in that area. All in all though fantastic place.
We have stayed at the resort before. This is a great unit for a couple. Owner was great at getting back to us with questions before our stay and while we were there. Well stocked with everything. Would go back again to same unit.
This condo is exactly what we hoped it would be. The condo was beautiful and clean. The ocean view is spectacular. This condo is in a great location. We felt comfortable and would stay again.
Absolutely perfect honeymoon stay for my wife and I! A room/view like this would cost thousands more at any of the big hotel chains, but renting through VRBO saved tons. The kitchen was perfect for breakfasts on the patio and stocked with everything you would need. Communication with the owner was great. Would come back here again
