Country living at its best, chickens and a beautiful stocked pond to fish in

Beautiful home just minutes from downtown Springfield and 30 minutes from Nashville, TN. We have chickens. You can gather the eggs and have fresh eggs for breakfast or enjoy fishing in the beautiful, relaxing, stocked pond. Fishing poles are ready and waiting. 1000 MBPS 1 gig Wi-Fi. Two living rooms. A gorgeous sunroom, three bedrooms and two baths. The kitchen is fully stocked with a Keurig and coffee pot. We have a gas grill outside with a gazebo and a gas Burn Ring to enjoy smores.

Great spot to hangout.

We had a very good time at this property! The house was very clean and in nice shape. We all had fun fishing in the pond. We had fresh eggs every day from the chickens. The house is so close to Springfield you can run and grab anything you need.

This was the perfect house to relax and let the little ones run around. We loved the chickens and the outsoor space! The house was very clean and comfortable and we will definitley stay here again when visiting family.

Amazing

From the time we pulled into the driveway and saw the place in person it was like a dream come true. The house was big enough for everyone without being on top of each other. The inside was amazing, fully stocked with dishes, extra linens if we needed, plenty of towels and rags, plenty of games to play, fishing was awesome, and of course can’t leave out the chickens it was fun letting them out in the morning and at least trying to put them up at night. Mrs. Debbie was the best host if I needed anything she was just a phone call away. Would recommend anyone that likes the country life and the quietness to choose this destination. It was so good we didn’t want to leave. Thanks for letting us stay.

Peaceful Family Getaway

Our stay experience at this property was excellent. We used it as a place to gather while visiting surrounding tourist attractions both in and around Nashville and Kentucky. The host Deb was very receptive to us. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful country setting with lots to do a short distance away.

This place made us all feel at home. Everything you need is there! Super clean and very quiet and relaxing. My grand babies loved visiting the chickens every morning and playing in the spacious yard. We will be back again.

Early Easter

Spent an early Easter hiding eggs, flying kites, precious family time. Kids loved going out to gather eggs from the chickens and making breakfast. Awesome host , available when needed. Easy access to shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!!

Beautiful, Spacious property

We rented the house this past weekend to be able to work on a weekend project in Springfield TN. All four of us absolutely loved the spacious house and the backyard gazebo, a great place to enjoy our morning coffee. I highly recommend this place, we liked it so much we've already rented it again for a future date.

Family Thanksgiving Holiday

Our family’s first visit to the Nashville area. Lovely home that accommodated our four children and four adults perfectly. We were able to make our traditional Thanksgiving meal in the well stocked kitchen. And the stocked Keurig was a blessing to our coffee drinkers.

Travel with in-laws/Legacy Golf Course

We booked this property to stay in while our daughter was playing in a golf tournament at The Legacy Course. The home was conveniently located to the course and to dining options. The house was clean and well appointed and had plenty of space for us to spread out. The owner was easily reachable via text when we had a minor issue with a TV. Would definitely book here again in the future.

Great peaceful getaway

Wonderful property. Very roomy, clean and beautiful home. We enjoyed the chickens and the country setting. No complaints at all. We had local family over for Easter and had a small hiccup with the oven display not working but we managed and have a good time. The property owners were there the next measuring to replace the oven. We will definently stay here again!

beautifully decorated, loved that both living rooms all had tv's in and all the bedrooms, 11 year old boys loved the back mud room to play in. Lots of dishes and pots and pans. The pond is a lovely spot to hang out at, caught a lot of blue gills,boys were thrilled. The fresh eggs were amazing. Those girls are hard at work, we must of got about 2 doz, while we were there.close to a lot of food places and food stores,etc.the owners were very nice ,helped out with what ever we needed, and taught us about the eggs ,after being laid.

Peaceful Stay

This was my second time staying at this property. Very well maintained and clean. This kids enjoy visiting the chickens and checking for fresh eggs. We have not gotten to fish the pond yet as we always seem to run out of time or the ground is too soft to walk out. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a safe, clean place to stay. Debbie and Ed are always fast to answer any questions or concerns. 10 out of 10 would definently recommend.

Lovely Springfield Gem

If you are looking for a quiet, clean and spacious house in the Springfield area this is the one. The house is located on a spacious lot with plenty of room to stretch your legs on a walk or jog if the fancy strikes. This house was immaculately clean. As in, perform surgery on the dining table clean, assemble a communications satellite for Nasa clean or take computer hard drives apart in those little white suits clean. It’s located just close enough to Springfield to make you feel like it’s in town, but just far enough away to also feel in the countryside. Debbie is a fantastic host and readily available should you have any problems. My family and I have nothing but good things to say about this house and will certainly stay again in the not too distant future. If you like antiques, try the Antique Barn in historic downtown Springfield we met the nicest people there!

This home was nice. Beautiful yard. We really enjoyed fishing, hanging with the chickens by the pond, laying on the comfy couches, & drinking the provided K Cups! We had a few minor issues. We were in town for a softball tournament from Illinois and were very busy so we didn't have time to contact the owner for all our questions or issues. The chicken eggs were an awesome perk, but we weren't sure how or when to get the eggs or if we should open or close the coupe. I would have felt better if that info was given to me. The Lightbulbs on the outside of home were burned out so we replaced them with some extras we found under the sink. It was difficult to get hot water to come out of the faucet in the kitchen. The hot and cold handles in the far shower were switched I think. We thought we ran out of hot water for the first few days, but realized the handles are switched. Lastly, there was only 1 paper towel roll, 1 toilet paper roll, & 1 garbage bag provided. I luckily packed extra because I overpack in all situations, but I was surprised to find only 1 of each item. Overall, it was a great experience. The view and vibe was wonderful and made up for the small minor issues we encountered, which are easily correctable issues. fyi - Before leaving for this trip, I ordered groceries from Walmart online and scheduled them for delivery at this house the next morning since I prefer not to grocery shop while on vacation!! It went smoothly as well!!

We spent time with our family for the long weekend. The house was great. There was lots of space for the kids to play inside and out! It was very clean inside and outside which was huge with young kids crawling around. We did not have enough time to fish, but appreciated the grass being cut for walks. We ate fresh eggs for breakfast both mornings which was a nice added perk and morning family adventure.We would definitely return if the opportunity arises.
