Our stay here was absolutely perfect while we visited family in the hospital. Barbara was very responsive and a top quality host! Would highly recommend this beautiful house!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Check in was easy. Great parking and house was clean and had everything we needed to make our trip comfortable and fun. Beds were very comfortable and neighborhood was quiet at night so we had great nights sleep after busy days! Enjoyed seeing the deer in back yard off the balcony. Saw wild turkey and squirrels too! Would definitely stay here again when visiting Rapid City!
Great house. Clean, great location, everything needed for our 6 night stay. Wild turkey & deer show up unexpectedly on the patio/deck. Great location for touring the Badlands, Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, & Custer State Park. Make sure you have access instructions a couple days in advance. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay!!
A very pretty and CLEAN place to stay while we had mom up there for surgery. Easy commutation with owner and allowing us to bring mom's dog with us to stay. The ONLY thing that took us by surprise was having someone living downstairs and coming from a small-town kind of freaked us out. But she was the perfect "roommate". I would highly recommend staying here. And if I go up to Rapid City again, I would love to stay there again.
This property is very nice. It is clean, well stocked and felt like I live there. We loved being there, the decor and the landscape. The property is not fenced so we walked our dog but it was a small price to pay to stay at this property. Thanks Barbara.
The space is beautiful, clean, and cozy. However, it is not private. There is a person living in the basement, which to us, wouldn't normally be a big deal, except there is no door separating the space. Rather it is an open staircase.
We never saw the person who lives downstairs. We did, however, have a friend of theirs walk in the front door without knocking. Quite awkward to her and us. When we said, "Hello?", this person stopped talking on their phone, and stumbled over words saying she was here to see the person who lives downstairs. Then headed straight for the stairs. We also could hear all of their conversations, so I'm sure they heard ours too.
If you are looking to get away and be alone, this is not for you!
