No Heat and No Communication
Family of five drove in from Alabama to handle the estate of a loved one who passed away. Upon arrival we could not get the heat on in the house, we tried for several hours before we went and bought additional blankets. Temperature upstairs was in the 50s and the downstairs never rose above 62. All of the downstairs beds lacked blankets. All of the beds were memory foam mattress, like bought online and shipped to the house. We tried to contact the host for 24 hours before we finally left and got hotel rooms for the remainder of the stay in Lansing. We contacted VRBO staff several times as well, never could get any reply until after we left. As of today, a week later, we have only received one message. We have asked for a refund, and surprise, the host has stopped responding to messages. We had to dispute the charge on our credit card. House was clean, but was not as advertised. No heat. No blankets for beds. Terrible communication with host. Would not rent from this host again.
