It wasn't always sandy toes and turquoise waters. Their story began years ago, fueled by a shared love for people and real estate. They yearned to merge their passions, turning a simple desire into a purpose. With a big dream and even bigger hearts, they began with just two one-bedroom apartments, a humble foundation for what was to come.
They poured their hearts into meticulous care and exceptional service, transforming those two apartments into a haven of unforgettable experiences. Soon, their portfolio expanded, encompassing houses and apartments across Pensacola, each meticulously chosen to offer unique character and charm.
As the business flourished, the Bentleys' dream grew beyond them. In 2021, Jody's brother Cary and his wife Debbie joined the fold, solidifying Screaming Reel Properties as a true family affair.

This is a quiet bayou front neighborhood featuring a view of the bayou, and two parks in walking distance. One features a playground and basketball courts for the kids, and the other a newly renovated walking park and duck pond. Just outside the neighborhood is Navy Blvd and if you travel west on Navy Blvd, you will find a slew of great antique stores that any shopper will love.
What makes this property unique
Our guests have full access to the house and grounds. There is also a lot across the street that we are happy to allow our guests to use for access to the bayou for some fishing or if you would like to rent a paddle board or kayak from one of the local rental companies or bring your own, your more than welcome to do so.
