Valhalla Villa - Private Luxury Above Cinnamon Bay

There is no view in St John that matches the view from our Villa in Catherineberg. You will wake up to pristine views of the white sands of Cinnamon Bay Beach and Jost Van Dyke beyond. We have just completed a multi-million dollar renovation, adding two pools, a brand new kitchen and have renovated every part of the existing property. Your stay includes being taken care of by our on-site Villa management team. Scott and Anysia will be there to help you before your trip to help with planning and any kitchen stocking, meet you at the Ferry dock to help ease your transition to paradise, and make sure that your time during your stay is as perfect as possible!

The property is very private, sited on two acres and bordering the national park. Located in the exclusive Catherineberg neighborhood it is 5-10 minutes to all of the fantastic north shore beaches including Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay, Maho Bay, Francis Bay, and Jumbie. We may be the only house on St. John where you cannot see another property from the Villa.
Our location is the most convenient on the island. It’s an easy 12 minute drive into Cruz Bay, 20 minutes or less to Coral Bay, and 5 minutes to the Midway gas and grocery store. All of the beautiful north shore beaches are easily accessible.
The villa includes a gourmet chef’s kitchen with high end appliances including a range that supports gas, induction and sous vide cooking. Our bar room includes a beverage refrigerator and high end ice maker. The indoor dining room accommodates 10 adults. The great room includes a large TV and the villa is stocked with a variety of board games for your enjoyment. The villa’s furniture includes custom pieces the owners have accumulated on their travels to Africa and Asia, with the beds and sofas custom made in Bali specifically for the villa.
Outside, there are extensive sunny and shaded patios all with breathtaking unspoiled views of Cinnamon bay and the BVI’s. The upper infinity edge pool provides plenty of opportunities for the perfect Instagram shot. The adjacent outdoor living area includes a large living room with television in a. custom carved teak cabinet, dining that accommodates 10 and an outdoor kitchen with refrigerator, gas BBQ, and outdoor refrigerator and ice maker.
The kids (of all ages including adults) will love that the upper pool is connected by a custom slide to the lower pool, where an additional covered patio includes more dining space and a romantic hanging love seat. The lower pool includes a secret grotto!

Finally, a four person hot tub is located in the garden, but still has views to die for.
As mentioned above, all of our rentals include support from our on site villa managers who will assist with stocking the kitchen, helping with reservations, and ensuring your stay at Valhalla St John is vacation heaven!
