This charming farmhouse is a great place to stay with absolutely stunning views. The property is easily accessed and near the beautiful historic Poinset and Campbell's Covered Bridges. The farmhouse is decorated with beautiful paintings of mountain life and has such an uplifting and warm feeling to every room. Listing pics are quite accurate. With our party of 4 -2 adults and 2 children- we were very comfortable.
You pull up to the property and there is an aabsolute amazing view. My friends live nearby on Glassy Mountain and were jealous of this view. Also, the host allowed us to enter a couple hours earlier and that was greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, the house needs some work. The sliding glass door sticks when trying to close possibly due to dead bugs in the track and the screen was off the track and leaning against the glass. The upstairs balcony is closed off with a sign stuck to the glass asking us not to use. There were dozens of insects in the house. There were mainly stink bugs, spiders and others I don’t know the name of. The house was organized but dusty and had spider webs in various areas. The freezer had black spots in it.
With a few corrections this house could be a great place to stay but it’s not ready to be rented in my opinion.
