After extensive renovation Maple Spring located at 25137 Walden Road, Abingdon, VA has been renting to happy guests since 2009. $165.00 is the daily rental amount for two guests. ***There is an additional $75.00 charge per night for each additional guest. (Yes, children are included in the count.)*** The inn is completely furnished, and professionally decorated. Original structure was built in 1865 with addition and total renovation in 2009. Enjoy the tranquil country setting from the spacious covered porch - complete with ceiling fans and rocking chairs. Offering four bedrooms. Jet tubs in two of the bathrooms, clawfoot tub and shower in the other. One bedroom available on the main level. One king size bed, two full size beds, two twin beds. All linens are furnished. Fully equipped kitchen. Xfinity cable TV & WI-FI. 3000 square feet of living space for your enjoyment. All situated on 21 picturesque acres. Great location only 3.5 miles from the heart of downtown Abingdon, VA. Available for short term rental only. Two day minimum. No pets, no smoking.
***Please note there are cats on the property. They are feral and have never been inside. I am allergic to cats. You will however, sometimes see them on the porches. Guests will be required to feed the cats during your stay. Cat food is provided at the house. If the cats are a problem do not book a stay here.***

We loved this peaceful little farmhouse. Such a great rural experience but only a few minutes from town. The house itself is clean and beautifully restored. The beds and furniture are very comfortable. We loved the friendly little cats and the deer feeding on the chestnut tree in the back yard. We highly recommend this house.

We had a very pleasant stay at our home away from home. The house is beautiful with a very interesting history that was offered in a book with old pictures. There was plenty of room. The master suite was spacious and very comfortable. The owner was available for our questions and responded quickly. The porch kitties were a pleasure. They were friendly and entertaining while we sat in the rocking chairs taking in the serenity of the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house in a quiet beautiful setting

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this well-appointed, comfortably renovated and furnished farm house with a nice kitchen and nice bathrooms. The location is stunning with the beautiful mountain farm lands, fields and pastures surrounding the house.

Warm & Welcoming!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maple Spring Inn. The attention to detail the host has put into this place to make your stay comfortable is incredible. We loved sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs in the mornings and then again in the evenings just taking in the peace and quiet.

Historic and gorgeous rural home

Beautiful rural landscapes surround this 19th century farmhouse that was once at the heart of the county poor farm. Lots of modern updates, but they have kept the historic charm. Friendly cats, grazing sheep, and the magnificent bold spring round out the scene.

Adorable house in a beautiful setting

We had a wonderful stay at Donna's house. It was clean, cute and the property was beautiful. We loved all the antiques and especially the comfortable front porch. The location was an easy drive to Abingdon. The only item that I wish they had was an electric tea kettle, but we made do. We would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful country haven

Donna is a great hostess! The house is beautiful, large and cosy rooms, and the best part: a peaceful & secluded scape just a few minutes outside the city. A perfect place to unplug from society/ the world and relax. We not only recommend this place but also are looking forward for returning here! Ps: and the kittens are so sweet.

House was very clean and well furnishedMain bedroom was spacious and updated bath areas were very nice. Quiet and secluded area not far from town center. Cats were not a problem but all visitors should be cat lovers if possible or at the least cat tolerant
