Lots of great potential - not there yet.

The property itself is very nice, but there are still some kinks to work out. This property is split very nicely for 2 families/groups. There's a full kitchen and living area both upstairs and down. The backyard would be awesome with more upkeep. Problems: Tvs weren't all plugged in or associated with remote. Upstairs bathroom had no lock, hand towel hook or shower liner. Kitchen was randomly stocked and basically all dishes were dirty. Don't depend on dishes/staples. Also, the owner walked in unannounced after our check in time without knocking. Honestly, it was a nice interaction, but seems like a pretty big no-no to avoid in the future. By far the biggest deterrent was the property management company. We found them to be inflexible, unhelpful and slightly rude. There are many examples, but most frustrating was when I requested a slightly early check in (330 instead of 4), they said I couldn't check in while the maid was there and that they'd let me know. They did not let me know or even acknowledge that they said that. Funny enough, they ask that any negative feedback go directly to them but positive feedback be posted publicly. They'll also be sure to message you first thing in the morning to make sure you get out by 10. Owner, the property management company is just awful. While they produced a great guide, the property is not well maintained and their service was very bad. A change there is needed. The owner and the property itself both seemed great!
