This section of Kerrville is North of the Guadalupe River and just 7/10th of a mile from "downtown". We often walk or jog downtown from the property and run on the Kerrville Urban River Trail or grab a coffee and pastry at Pax Coffee & Goods.
The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Please respect the neighbors who live there 24/7. We love our community and want to make sure we have great relationships with our neighbors.
It is common to see a herd of deer on the property. They lived here first, so we are letting them stay. We have also seen (almost nightly) raccoon, fox, neighborhood cats, and one time .... a skunk. So, please be aware of your surroundings when you go outside in the dark. These critters are more scared of you than you are of them. The will scurry off in a hurry.
You will receive a personal door code prior to your arrival via email. This code is only for you during your stay with us and will be deactivated shortly after your departure.
You have access to the entire house, private side yard and common area outside.
Bedroom 1 has a King size bed and small full bathroom
Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed and large full bathroom
Bedroom 2 has TWO Queen size beds and a full bathroom
If you need directions please let me know. Highway 10 is just up the road (Sydney Baker aka Hwy 16).
We have 3 other short term rentals on the property and one more across the street. The Monarch is the largest and the grandest of them all! The property is large and has enough parking for four vehicles dedicated to The Monarch. The Axis Suite and The Blackbuck Suite sit behind The Monarch and feature 2 bedrooms/1bath each with 2 parking spots per side.
Additionally we have the Blue Heron Cottage across the street that features 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, full kitchen, fenced in yard with Grill, fire pit, ping-pong and corn hole area.
Please inquire if you need to book more than one house.

This is a Finish Line Property.  Creating beautiful spaces in amazing places.  Erin and Tom, the owners of Finish Line Investment Properties are looking forward to hosting you in one of their 5 short term rentals in the Kerrville area.  All 5 rentals are within feet of each other!  
Why they chose this property
While remodeling our first property The Blue Heron Cottage, we fell in love with the big house across the street.  As soon as it came up for sale we jumped at the opportunity to rehab this beautiful 1916 home.  Little did we know that it also came with duplexes in the back and another single family home.  All of which are now part of the 820 property, and The Axis Suite and The Blackbuck Suite are also available for rent.  The final project The Cypress will be ready by Spring of 2024.
What makes this property unique
This home is so special, we did our best to mix modern amenities with a vintage feel.  The secret door was because Erin didn't like the entrance to that particular room and it needed to moved.  (Not giving away any secrets here).  We love the fact that each bedroom has it's own ensuite bathroom as well.... and we may have made one bathroom a little larger due to our love of a big hot shower!  
You'll have access to the community Pavilion in the back yard with a farm table that seats 15 and has two swings.
