Wonderful peaceful retreat!
Our trip was a family trip with ages from 80 to 9 mons. We fell in love with the house immediately. The size was more than adequate. We enjoyed the peaceful scenery and the kids loved the pool. Everyone loved the house. It had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. We aren't the type to do alot of sight seeing when we go with family so it was a great change of scenery with the Covid going on. Smores in the fire pit. Creek nearby. Some did go to the lakes nearby for fishing. Some anitiquing. Walmart close enough for supplies. This was one of our best vacations. The dining table made for great family meal time and pool table made for great fun. We can't say enough how much we enjoyed our visit.
Enjoyed the quiet.
Nice, quiet property..just what we needed. Very nice to have the private pool on the property. Owners were very communicative when there was a small issue with the air conditioner. Would stay again.
Very kid friendly.
We have a great time. There was a ton a space and it was very kid friendly. The pool was clean and there were life jackets and floats for the little ones. We took kayaks down the creek and had a blast. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs to get away and spend time with family.
Omg! This house is huge. From the time we walked in we were in awe. Plenty of space. We had a ball.
Will definitely rent again and subject to friends and family
Perfect for large groups
We had a great time staying at this large vacation house in Blue Ridge. The location was perfect for getting out to the trails, into town, or just relaxing down by the creek. It is a large isolated property (barely see one neighboring house). It has a large dining table to accommodate a group and plenty of kitchen pans, utensils, etc. needed for cooking. It is an older house, and we did have a couple of minor issues (not unexpected with older rentals), however, Lidiya was very responsive and overall the price is a bargain. We only used the top two floors, and all the beds on those floors were comfortable.
Regarding previous comments about the roof leaking/tarped roof. I had been informed before arrival that the roof was repaired and we did not have any water leaking in. We had a couple of days of rain, including one day of heavy rain.
