Room was clean and comfortable. Area is very peaceful and relaxing. Other guests were nice. We had 2 dogs, the road was easy to walk them on , very minimal traffic and a view of Shavers Fork for the walk.
Secluded yet accessible property in the mountains of WV… The entire area surrounding the property was blanketed with snow most of the time I was there, and I had a peaceful visit. Thank you
Easy keyless entry, zero check in experience highly convenient-, inviting and welcoming room with an enclosed front porch on a quiet nook of a street conveniently placed near Elkins- which makes it a beautiful semi-secluded area with a twist of convenience rare to find in this area. Highly recommend. There are also a couple of decks providing direct view of the river (easy access for fishers); as well as a deck with a picnic table and BBQ grill. Five stars
Beautiful view. Perfect to stay for local ski. Only thing i had issue with is room seemed to get hott at night even with heat off. Nbd just opened window. Otherwise great place to stay

This was a pet friendly lodge which is what first drew us, they even had a little bed for her! Beautiful area and the deck over the river is very nice. The bed was clean and very comfortable and it was great to have our own coffee maker. The downside was the room felt very dark and although there was an active dehumidifier running it felt damp and musty. The other thing that bothered us was the owner repeatedly told us what kind of review he wanted. I review almost every place we've ever stayed at and they are always an honest review from our perception. I truly hope that VRBO will understand that this is not meant to be a terrible review by any means.

Best place ever
This place is amazing. I got support for all the needs my team had while they were staying here. From accomodating my whole team, to help me extend (greatly appreciate the discount I got when extending a few more days) and help me accomodate my team for the days they were staying here.
My team was so pleased with the location, the amazing size of the rooms, the cleaninless, and everything they got for the money. Completely worth it.
Got to save their contact information. My place to go for our next visit on this area.
We chose this property for its proximity to the river since the purpose of our trip was for fishing. It served that purpose. The room was clean. The inn is pet friendly and the rooms even have dog beds and clean-up baggies. If a dog has ever been in room 102, you wouldn't know it. It didn't smell like a dog and we didn't see any hair. The room did have an odor that I believe was from the dehumidifier/air freshener. I would have preferred a more neutral smell or no smell. The unit was to be left running, which provided some white noise at night. Our room wasn't soundproof, so that white noise was helpful. If we were to stay here again, I would request an upstairs room so we wouldn't hear people walking above us.The room had a nice sized mini fridge that held a large pizza box, plus other items. It could've held a gallon sized jug as well. The electronic door lock was easy to use and secure. The smart TV allowed us to log into our personal accounts. The only real downside to staying here for us was the beds. We are used to a firmer mattress and ours was soft and we felt like we were sinking into the middle. We asked about another room with a firmer mattress and were told that all the rooms have the same mattresses. If you don't mind a soft mattress or don't care, it may not be an issue for you, but we won't be able to stay here again because of it.The owners were very responsive.
