What a place to be all together with enough space to spread out or be in our own retreat space if you want. The floor plan offers a grand open floor plan with 23' ceilings and also offers intimate areas like the living room with grand piano or the lower level family room with cozy real wood fireplace and it's own kitchen. The outdoor space is just as grand with a huge deck overlooking the beautiful Mississippi. The bedrooms are separated by living spaces for your privacy.

Enjoy a classic Minnesota trip and and come stay on the Mississippi River! This 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom riverfront vacation home boasts 5,000 square feet and comfortably sleeps 12. Spend your days renting the private pontoon and browsing the boutique shops before you enjoy all the amenities the house has to offer including a brand new 6 person Hot Tub!

This impressive home was an original farmstead house and the property used to include much of the surrounding area. You and your guests will have plenty of room to spread out over the home's expansive open floor plan and be able to enjoy views of the river from practically every room.

Unwind on the plush sofas in the Great Room and turn on the 82" Smart TV. When you get a little chilly, turn on the gas fireplace and warm up the space. Grab some fresh air on the expansive back deck with ample outdoor seating, views of the river, and a gas grill, or cozy up in the lower level family room with wood fireplace. Add in the private office on the main level, and there is no better place to enjoy a destination work-from-home!

Enjoy cooking delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen which features a 6-burner gas stove, double ovens, a prep sink, stainless steel appliances, custom cherry cabinets, large center island bar, and granite counter tops. Just wow.

Maximum 2 pets at $150 each

Our property is on what is known as the six mile recreational Mississippi River pool and is always flowing. Non stagnant water avoids many issues that area lakes are experiencing such as swimmers itch, algae and weeds. Book your vacation on the river!

Property is great for a large family gathering. Roomy for everyone to be gathered in one place, but offers lots of private places smaller groups can peel off and do they're on thing. Sitting on the boat was one of my favorite places to hang out.

The house is large and the view is amazing. The living spaces were spacious. The sofas and leather chairs were very comfortable and the kitchen was relatively well equipped. A couple of opportunities for improvement are: there was no dishwasher soap, there were only 4 teaspoons, none of the bathrooms had bar soap, only one bathroom had hair conditioner, the master bath shower had a lot of mold in it, and the fan in the master bathroom did not work.

I grew up on a small dairy farm in Kenan Wisconsin. Farmers have to be resourceful and wear lots of hats to be successful. I took that determination to design and build a house. Doubling the size of the home was a big challenge, but I just knew I could do it. At the same time my wife Chris and I were raising four children, and I was working a full-time corporate job. We retired in 2021 and now we own and manage two rental properties.

Why they chose this property

The views and the park right across the street for the kids was great!

What makes this property unique

Besides everything wonderful about the house, being right on the water is very unique so close to the city. The views from the house and decks are beautiful. The house sits back on the property closer to the water than our neighbors which gives us much better views, both upstream and down. The river is more like a lake then a river as it is known as the 7 mile recreational pool catering to water"recreation". What's also great about our location is that it is east of the 169 where there are not as much boat traffic. Enjoy a restful day on the dock on the river or rent the water toys and spend the day playing in and on the water.
