This fantastic home away from home is conveniently located less than a mile from the slopes of Northstar California Resort. Free transportation is available to and from the village for residents and guests, so bring your ski equipment or your appetite! The village in itself has many restaurants, shops and depending on the season, ice skating. Terrific attractions located within 10 miles include the Brockway Summit Tahoe Rim Trail Trailhead, Historic Downtown Truckee & Visitor Center, Old Brockway Golf Course, and Donner Memorial State Museum. With extensive biking, hiking, and walking trails all over Northstar and Truckee, there are plenty of ways to explore. Kings Beach/Lake is 8.4 miles away and roughly 15 minutes away, Donner Lake is 11.4 miles out, and you can visit casinos in South Lake and Reno for additional fun which is about a 45-minute drive depending on the season.

When you make this retreat your next home base, you and your beloved group will be granted access to sensational shared amenities, which include a heated outdoor pool, a game room/arcade, a fitness center, pool and Ping-Pong tables, along with tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, and on-site golf. The rec center is located next to the village with private parking for rec center use.

Outdoor living is truly unbeatable here! Enjoy the private hot tub on the patio after a memorable skiing session, or gather on the second many-floor decks for some barbecuing using the grills provided. An outdoor dining table will help you host alfresco meals for the crew. The fire table is also a wonderful place to hang out and relax (not available during winter months).

Inside, the home boasts a beautiful open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, wooden and rock accents here and there, and exposed wood beams. The main level living room is all about natural light with ample windows, while the lower level family room is the perfect place for those cozy movie nights in front of a heated multicolored fireplace. You will find a plethora of comfortable furnishings to relax on while streaming your favorite movies and series on the many smart TVs. The beautiful rock gas-log fireplace will keep you nice and warm during winter stays. Let your creativity flow and surprise your group with delicious treats and meals - the kitchen is fully appointed with all the essentials to show off your culinary skills. Downstairs is a cozy family room with another fireplace, a smart TV, and a cozy sofa bed. Enjoy the free Gondola ride up to the Ritz Hotel Ski Resort and have a hot cocoa by the firepits. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
