Great stay!

Location was great and everything was as described. Lots of personal touches and anything you could need! Beverage, ice, snacks, games! Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Best Place To Stay!

Our trip to Liberty was absolutely phenomenal in large part to our stay at Little House on Prairie Street! The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming and the property itself was so charming and perfect for my friend and I. We were able to walk to restaurants nearby, and the house was the perfect amount of space for us with everything we needed plus more! We will definitely be staying here again. We’d highly recommend!

Wonderful house and host!

Our family had a great time! Perfect little house, with an exceptional host who made our stay easy and special. The host really took care to all the little details, even including games and movies perfect for my kids. It’s so great to walk to the square for nice restaurants and shops. We will be back!

Every Space A Delight In The Little Prairie House

This is a beautifully restored historic home within a short walk to Liberty Square. Staying in this fabulous setting during a very difficult time for our family brought a lot of joy to our weekend stay. It made for a very memorable trip back home to Liberty. Our VRBO host was wonderful. Highly recommend staying at The Little House on Prairie Street.

We had a wonderful time at this property! The house was neatly decorated and the decor matched the theme of the home. It is amazing that this 1880’s home is in as good shape as it is! They thought of everything

This home was amazing. It was clean and adorable. I loved that there were cozy blankets on the beds, by the couch, and in the closets. The bathroom had all of the little extras that you might need and bonus supplies that you wouldn't expect. In the fridge we found some cold drinks and even local eggs! The owners were very friendly. They provided a few extras that made vacation with our dog so much easier. With the proximity to the adorable, clean, and safe town square, it has everything you could want. We will definitely stay here again.

The BEST weekend at the BEST Little House on Prairie Street!

Our family of six met together to enjoy a few nights in this beautiful home in the perfect location! The house was perfect for what we needed. We played games, listened to wonderful records, put puzzles together, and laughed a lot! We did not turn on any televisions, but enjoyed wifi as needed on our laptops for work related correspondence. The kitchen is furnished with great appliances and items left for us in the pantry were perfect for snacking. We didn’t do any cooking, but it was wonderful to have everything needed for heating up leftovers from dining out and simple snacks. We all enjoyed the big tub upstairs and had no shortage of hot water. The beds were all extremely comfortable and we all slept well. We were minutes away from great shopping and the beautiful town square. I also managed to come home with clean laundry, which is a plus for this working mom! I highly recommend this stay for those that appreciate early Americana and the craftsmanship of a home that has been standing for 140 years.

For your special occasion, all dishware is available for use, with extra hosting pieces found in the antique China cabinet in the dining room - such as tea cups and saucers for an afternoon mother and daughter tea!
