Boonsboro Cottage

This quaint farmhouse is located off 501 in historic Boonsboro, on the northwest outskirts of beautiful Lynchburg. It is easy access to anywhere in town, but with the feel of a peaceful country getaway. Enjoy a breathtaking and scenic 15 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, mountains, and James River. A short 15 minute drive downtown will take you to great restaurants and shopping. Whether you’re here for our local festivals, wineries, orchards, visiting a local university, or just passing through, we’d love to host you!

This home is a 2 level home. On the first floor is an eat-in kitchen with all the basics you would need for cooking. It is equipped with a full size fridge, stove, and microwave, but no dishwasher. There is a small bar type, 4 seat table in the kitchen. The bathroom has a stand up shower only, no bathtub. Downstairs also has a cozy living room with Roku streaming services. There are 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The master has a queen bed, desk, dresser, and closet. The second bedroom has a double bunk, a single sleeper chair, and armoire for storage.

Guests have access to the front porch and small yard directly in front of the cottage, but are not permitted to roam the property. We are an active family who live in the main home directly behind the cottage. We will always respect guests privacy and provide a quiet and peaceful stay, however it is important to note that guests are not alone on the property.
