We enjoyed our stay in Lynchburg! It was our first time in the area. This property was exactly as advertised & it was truly nice to have 2 king beds & 2 full bathrooms. (There was another, I believe queen bed, available in another room.) The back patio was great for sitting out!Supplies were perfect & Adam was VERY prompt w all communications. Lynchburg was truly a city of hills!

Delightful Stay

We enjoyed our stay. Property was clean and comfortable. Very convenient to downtown restaurants and Liberty University. Great on-site parking. Only suggestion would be to provide additional linens for multi-day stays. Window coverings in the living room/kitchen area would be a nice add. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely historic home with modern conveniences. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that it could've been cleaner. It looked clean, but I found a few hairs (looked like dog hair) in the shower & on the kitchen counter. (No big deal.) Also, the water pressure in the shower was poor, which is understandable, given the age of the home. And the floors are extremely tilted, which was slightly offputting, However, we loved our time there & would certainly book again!

Thank you for your review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the charm of the historic home and that it still offered the modern comforts needed for a great stay. We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding cleanliness as this is not our standard—this is helpful and will be shared with our team so we can continue improving the guest experience. It’s wonderful to hear that despite those small issues, you still had an enjoyable stay and would book again. We’d love to host you in the future!

Dorchester

This was a lovely property. It was particularly nice to be in an historic home AND be some close to Downtown. We walked most places and really enjoyed ourselves. While we had a good time, the water pressure was terrible. It was difficult to take a shower and conserve water at the same time; we could not find a non-stick pan to use for our breakfast. Given where we are, it's certainly understandable, but breakfast for 5 from the grocery store is $20. The front room could also use some window coverings. It gets hot in there and while it may not fit the theme of the house, the air conditioner is working a little harder to cool. Overall, a good location and comfortable stay, but with those improvements, it would be even better.

Beautiful and light

We loved our stay on Court St. It was clean, quaint, nicely decorated, and LIGHT. I love a light living space. Ceilings are high. It’s an old building with lots of plants and a few fireplaces still there from days of old (not working now). Lots of personality. Right in downtown, so you can get to know the city a little bit. The only reason I have a 4 for accuracy of listing is because the listing said dog friendly. But the information available when we arrived at the place, said dogs were not allowed. However, our circumstances had changed, and we didn’t have our dog with us anyway. So I never clarified. If we do a BNB in Lynchburg again, this is it. (We have been to several others in Lynchburg) The nice 2nd floor living space was very roomy. However, there were no curtains. That’s the only change I recommend.
