Brand new king bed in this comfortable ground floor 1 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living room. Well-equipped kitchen. This is a 4 unit property. Lovely pool, free wireless internet, TV/DVD, semi-private patio in the rear with outdoor seating. Outdoor shower. A/C throughout.

The staff at Abbey Del Sol was first class and Juanita #1 was perfect; clean, well stocked and cozy. We felt very safe walking into town for meals and hanging out at the beach. Jin set us up on a snorkeling trip which was AMAZING; a 5 minute boat ride to the reef where we saw a barracuda, lobsters, stingrays and lots of beautiful fish.

It's been fully remodeled. The bed was comfortable and it has a great shower. You cannot beat the location, 1 block to the beach. Milco is super accommodating and friendly. I will go back.

The swimming pool is very refreshing and the patio area very comfortable. The property is a short walk (15-20 minutes) to town where there is a very good variety of restaurants. I hope to return to Puerto Morelos in the future and would not hesitate to stay in one of the Abbey del Sol properties.

Clean with all the amenities you would need including little extras like a water kettle, beach chairs and umbrella. Also good selection of tv channels and Netfix/YouTube. Wifi worked perfectly inside or around the pool. Milko the property owner was nearby and always available as was the Abbey del Sol staff next door. Location was perfect for us, just blocks from the beach and we enjoyed the short walk to central square and restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this property to anyone visiting Puerto Morelos, it is a special little town.

A half mile to the restaurants, a quick walk to the beach and quiet in the evenings. The bathroom is a bit small, but was able to put on makeup in the large bedroom. After taking a quick dip into the cooling pool, it is just a few steps to your room. Wonderful place to stay a the staff is AMAZING! I would definitely recommend to a couple looking for an affordable stay on Puerto Morelos.

Our host, Milko, was available to answer questions and provide taxi and travel information. I advise visiting anytime of the year, the air conditioning works, the pool is pristine, and snorkeling on the Worlds 2nd longest coral reef is also spectacular.

The apartment had everything we needed from a sunny kitchen table, a cool comfortable bed, a shaded back patio and a swimming pool right out the front door!The location is great since there is easy access to the beach and into town, but away of the business ofthe condos. Milko, the manager for Juanita, was helpful lining up quick turnaround for our laundry and taxi service. Our only issue was we didn't stay long enough! Thank you everyone at Abbey del Sol!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very pleasant stay at CJ#1.Milko, the owner was up bright and early each day cleaning the garden , furniture and pool areas. Any request we made was handled quickly and professionally.We enjoyed the new restaurants and cafes in town and were very impressed with the rejuvenation of the park in the town centre. We enjoyed many pleasurable evenings listening to the entertainment at the bandshell and of course indulging in our nightly gelato at the shop beside the park. Milko and the rest of the staff in the ADS office are to be recommended for their hospitable and efficient operation.

We absolutely loved staying here on our first trip to Mexico! The staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating and even gave suggestions on where to eat and helped us with any questions we had regarding tipping etc..Milko was very friendly and answered any and all questions we had and explained everything thoroughly. Lupita was the best! Always happy to help and so friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would definitely go back again!

We decided to rent bicycles to go around easier. It s very clean and quiet. You would have to share the apartment patio and the pool with 3 more appartement.The only complaint I gave is, I didn't like the noise of the fountain the all day long. It s off during night time.

As a woman experienced in traveling solo in the Caribbean, I felt especially safe at Casa Juanita as the property was very secure with the Abbey del Sol office nearby and the staff were warm, attentive and discreet. Airport transportation was seamless and upon arrival gracious Milko welcomed me at the Casa entry. The town with a new upscale Chedraui grocery, fresh tortillas, and cute shops & restaurants is an easy, safe walk or a cheap cab ride. The Casa and Puerto Morelos strike a perfect balance of value, convenience, beautiful beach sunsets, and local charm. The local residents and fellow tourists are respectful and friendly. Though not necessary, it was fun to learn a little Spanish.The Casa is actually BETTER than the accurate online photos and description - to fully appreciate the cozy, harmonious feel of the place, it must be experienced. The design of the property is elegant with local architectural touches such as painted tiles and colorful exteriors and interiors that provide a unique local ambiance. Within three minutes, you can saunter over to UNICO or Diving Lodge beach clubs where you can hang for free, but I recommend that you indulge: rent chairs and a palapa for a small fee and enjoy delicious food and drink delivered to your perch on the beach. Casa Juanita and Milko's other properties in Puerto Morelos are PERFECT vacation homes: easy to get to, meticulously maintained and usefully-appointed with excellent WiFI, plentiful towels, and well-equipped kitchen. I loved snorkeling the local wonderful reef, swimming with sea turtles and the local culture, but simply relaxing with a book by the pristine pool area with shady, cozy alcoves and lushly landscaped with hibiscus and bougainvillea at Casa Juanita was my favorite way to spend the day.
