About the host
Hosted by Anna

Hi, my name is Anna. I am from The Bahamas, an archipelago of 700 islands and cays, 19 of which are inhabited. New Providence is the capital of The Bahamas, and this is where my property is located. I enjoy the peace and serenity that the island has to offer and choose the western district, away from the hustle and bustle of "downtown" and the main financial district of Nassau called Bay Street.
I completed my education on the island of New Providence; from primary to college level, and I am a part of the workforce in The Bahamas for nearly 40 years!
I am a fun loving, caring person, who enjoys meeting people! I love animals and take pride in gardening, and traveling. In my spare time. I find painting, reading, and sewing to be relaxing, and I look forward to completing new projects or reading a new exciting novel. During the weekends I enjoy spending time with my family and friends; celebrating birthdays, and other special occasions, including cultural events, attending beach picnics, and parties, and attending weekly Sunday church service.

Why they chose this property
The serenity of the western district of the island, its unobstructed coastal views, and its safety features motivated me to become a property owner! Despite its location near the airport, this area boast features conducive to rest and relaxation, in comparison to locations near the city center. The historical aspect of this portion of the island is evident in the types of restaurants, historical villages such as Gambier and Adelaide, and the way of life of the people living in this section of the island. The island is relatively small in size, therefore, you can enjoy the serenity of the district, with ease of access to the city life and culture using public or private transportation.
What makes this property unique
I choose my property because of the topography of the area, approximately 20 feet above sea level. There is a community recreation area consisting of child and adult pools, a tennis court, a gazebo, and a children's playground. There is a twenty-four-hour security service, with responsive officers who go "above and beyond" to offer services to residents and visitors!
