Newly remodeled and updated 3 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath home. Great deck and lower patio with bonfire area facing the water. Located on crystal clean all sports lake with private dock, 2 kayaks and a pedal boat for your own use. The lake is great for swimming, boating, kayaking or fishing. Located 5 minutes from Cedar Point owned Michigan's Adventure. 10 minutes from Lake Michigan, 30 minutes from Silver Lake sand dunes. Much to do or just relax on the sandy beach.

Fantastic location

We loved this place! This was our second year going. It’s so nice to be on a small, but deep lake. It’s great for kids! The kayaks, paddle boat, and swim platform made for a very fun week with the kids. Lots of sand and sun and relaxing!

Summer time vacation

2nd time here and it was just as awesome! Clean, comfy, and relaxing. The lake is just amazing. We had plenty of room for everyone. Lots of towels & paper supplies. We can’t wait til our next visit

Lake House Vacation 2024

This is our 3rd year at this property. I should say “home”. Beautiful lake front , 2 outside deck seating, water toys, great sleeping arrangements.. we all just love it. We are trying to get a week for summer 2025, but my family is growing- I’ll be up to 6 grandkids by then. I love the updates the host continue to make. Thanks for having us!! Rosy Boucher and family

Beyond Perfect Lake Escape

Nestled in the serene beauty of Twin Lakes, Michigan, this spacious lake house combines comfort with breathtaking views. The amazing recent basement update made what was undoubtedly a wonderful escape even more idyllic. Calm nights on the lake are magical, with the water reflecting hues of orange and pink at sunset, creating a tranquil ambiance. Our three children thrived here, their laughter echoing across the water as they play in the surf, building sandcastles and splashing in the gentle waves. This lake house is a place where the simplicity of life’s greatest joys are celebrated daily, from lazy afternoons on the porch, a book and cocktail in hand, to evenings under a blanket of stars, quiet, calm, and reflective. We left rejuvinated, relaxed, and eager to return to this well-appointed vacation escape.

Beautiful home on a beautiful lake!!

The home was everything we needed and more. Lots of towels, plenty of beach toys, plenty of patio chairs!! Very roomy!! We loved the new finished basement. It was great to have a little bit of separation with the families. The hosts were awesome!!

Pleasant care free stay.

My wife and I loved this property. It had everything we needed and more. There was way more room than we needed with a recently renovated finished walk-out apartment. Main floor was updated and well kept. Host's are friendly and accommodating.

Love the beach!

Great rental and great hosts! We loved the beach, the patio, deck, the kayaks, paddle boat and the house. We were fortunate to be one of the first guests to use the newly remodeled basement and new bedroom. The new bed is so comfortable. The house is very clean. The hosts agree that the rental needs a water softener. Us city folks don’t like well water! TY for everything Ann and Darren.

Great place for a summer stay!

Our family had a great time here! The house is clean, comfortable, and just as advertised. The lake is surprisingly clear and was a lot of fun. We especially liked having the little beach area and shallow water for the kids to play in, and took advantage of the kayaks and peddle boats that are provided. We ate most of our meals outside on the patio or the deck. The owners are next door and are very friendly and helpful without being overbearing or anything. All in all a great place for a relaxing summer retreat!

Great Stay

Daren and Ann's place was great. The house is clean and comfortable. They have tons of places outside to relax and enjoy the weather. The water was warm and we enjoyed the the of the kayaks and paddle boat they provided. Daren and Ann live next door but were very friendly and gave us our space (they were even kind enough to drop off some fresh Michigan cherries).

Great summer stay

My family of 5 really enjoyed our time at the lake house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Having the owners next door was great, as they popped over right away to address a couple questions I had. The way the backyard is laid out, feels quiet private. We met the neighbor on the other side and he was a nice older gentleman. Oh yes cannot forget to mention the griddle/grill on the deck, great for breakfast! All in all we would recommend this home for a quite, relaxing week away. Our week included - swimming, kayaking, fishing, watching movies and more fishing.

We had a great time!

We stayed for a long weekend. The home was very clean with all necessities including a grill and firepit and the view was beautiful. The house is right on the water and we had access to the paddle boat. We were able to bring our dogs which was a huge bonus. We were also only a few minutes away from Michigan Adventure. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and quiet place to vacation

The house is a bit dated, but has all you need to enjoy a quiet vacation by the lake. Little boat traffic, sandy bottom, and clean water allows for an enjoyable swim or float. Accommodations were excellent for the 4 of us. Having the owners next door was fine and they were very nice and approachable in the case you required assistance. Minutes away from Michigan adventure, close to Muskegan, and quick drive to the beautiful Grand Haven lake front. We will stay there again in the future.

Great Vacation!

What a great property and location! Much bigger than I anticipated. The 2 bedrooms are spacious, leaving plenty of room for air beds if needed for additional guests. The basement has a beautifully done bathroom and space for guests to stay downstairs as well. Having the owners next door, The Andersons, was not an issue and they were available when needed. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful Lakefront Cottage!

This cottage is well equipped and nicely decorated. Beautiful beach and relaxing lake. It adequately accommodates a family of four; but has limitations with sleeping six. Disadvantage of having owner oversight next door!
