Per county requirements, we are permitted a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Please do not book or arrive with more than the maximum or you could be fined from the city and evicted with no refund.

Big Bear Cabin 4U is perfect for everyone. Located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear with gorgeous forest views and just a short drive to the slopes. This rustic cabin comes equipped with everything you need for a memorable mountain getaway!

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1000+ sq ft home with living room, dining table, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 3 bedroom, 1 bath. Downstairs first bedroom has a king bed, TV, and DVD player. Downstairs second bedroom has a queen bed. Upstairs loft has two twin beds, daybed with trundle, TV, and deck. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.

AMENITIES - TVs along with fast WiFi, Blu-ray DVD player, board games, and card games. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry area with stackable washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS - Gas barbecue and outdoor picnic table. Fenced yard with plenty of space.

PARKING - 3 car driveway. Flat parking and entrance off of a private alley.

BigBear4U

Great location with easy access to the slopes and shops (e.g., Vons). There is a lockbox for the keys, which made check-in and check-out easy. The cabin's decor, appliances, etc. are a bit dated, but perfectly functional. There are 2 adjacent bedrooms downstairs next to the bathroom and then a loft area upstairs with 2 twin beds, a sofa, and balcony access. Although there is a furnace, we brought our own space heater for the master bedroom (and found it helpful at night). We were satisfied with our stay.

Very home like atmosphere at Big Bear Cabin 4U

Big Bear Cabin 4U was the perfect place for our family vacation this winter. It came fully stocked with all amenities. Very clean and well maintained. We especially loved that it was pet friendly. We were a total of 6 and had more than enough space to roam around. Very close to Bear Mountain ski resort, the zoo, market, restaurant and Big bear Lake Village. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Not so Comfortable

I have used Cool cabins in the past and had a great experience. This time I was not so fortunate. The first problem we had was the smell and cleanliness of this cabin. We needed to open the windows and let it air out. The carpet is really old and smells. The furniture is old and smells and the reclining chair is broke and stuck in the reclining position. the kitchen table chairs are loose and on the verge of breaking. All of the window shades are falling apart or don’t work. It took a while to figure out how to use the tv downstairs. After playing around with it for a half hour we got Netflix to work. The upstairs tv was stuck on a screen that we could not get rid of so we could not use this tv. The locks on the front door were tough to use as well. The deadbolt is really hard to lock and sticky when you put the key in, the bottom lock does not even work. The handle locks but does not engage the jam for some reason. We also found the directions to the cabin to lack information. There is a dirt road you must take to get to the cabin. It’s at the end of the cal-da-sack. Overall we found this cabin to not be comfortable for our 6 member family (2 adults) (4 children. The 1 positive of this cabin was the kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils.
