Overall good stay with some minor issues
Overall, it was a good stay:the house was clean and fully furnished, nothing fancy but price appropriate. We stayed here for convenience of being at Northstar; the shuttle service to the resort was a great perk and pretty easy to manage once we figured out how to use it. That being said, when we contacted management to ask about it we were told it wasn’t offered for our unit, which was not true. The listing also stated there is access to a hot tub, pool, & gym- but beware, they are about a mile away at Northstar village; don’t plan on walking to use them in the evenings (like we normally would with a rental like this). This was information that could have easily been a part of the informational pamphlet/binder you usually find in the unit at check-in, but we had to contact the management office via text and phone multiple times to get it. Better yet, just state it on the listing. Incidentally, you are directed to text the property management office as the easiest form of contact, but the response time is dismal with that method- we still had more luck with calling. We also booked the unit for 6 people and were provided exactly 4 bath towels, and one washcloth for a 4 night stay. Housekeeping did end up coming with more so that was thankfully resolved. The stairs inside the house could also use tread pads or something as they are nice but wood and consequently a little slippery if you’re wearing socks, which we all were in observance of the request to have our shoes off.
