Wonderful

We enjoyed the property and the surrounding area! Everything was just as advertised. The only slight issues were due to a recent storm before our stay. There was some damage to some of the screens and a lot of workers coming and going on the property nearly every day. It would have been nice to know they were coming (they did let us know once) but it was nearly every day and multiple groups per day (lawn, pool, tree people to look, tree people to take down a tree that didn’t need to come down at the time….it was just causing debris in the pool when they had big storms so they chose to take down a perfectly good tree, construction people to drop off supplies and then leave them there for several days but not do any work…we kept thinking they would be coming back, but they didn’t). It just wasn’t as restful as we would have liked. But we totally understand that some of those visits were due to the storm. We very much enjoyed the time by the river every evening and family time in the pool every day.

Brunswick House rental on River

So many positives as a rental. The house layout was great for our family. Most of the bedrooms had bathrooms attached. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Family/game room upstairs. Relaxing outdoor room by pier. Great home base to go explore Brunswick, St Simons and Jekyll. Great communication with the owner via e-mail and messaging. Negatives- if you are sensitive to road noise, there is a lot of traffic noise from the highway nearby. The pool was not heated so it was too cold for the kids to spend much time in during spring break. Overall great rental. It felt homey without feeling like you were in someone else's space and was a great home base for our family as we explored the area.

Awesome house!

Sent my husband here on a boys golf trip. It was fantastically located near a bunch of golf courses. They got to fish, golf and relax! The host is very eager to please and will help in anyway! I would highly recommend!!
