An old worn out hotel!
I reserved 3 rooms and a few days before the cancellation date I tried to cancel one room because two family members couldn’t join us for our grandson’s graduation at UNC Chapel Hill. VRBO would not let me cancel. I could cancel all 3 rooms but not one. VRBO referred me to the hotel and the hotel referred me back to VRBO. This happened twice. Neither was responsive to my needs. I had to pay for an empty room for 2 nights that they could have sold for 2 or 3 times what I paid because I made the reservation so far in advance. The hallways needed vacuuming. The carpet in the room had several large stains and the upholstered chair was in tatters in two places. The shampoo dispenser did not work and the refrigerator froze all the food that was in there. VRBO and the local staff spoke English but it was very difficult to understand their dialect.
