RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Perfect Stay on the Beach

We had a relaxing, peaceful stay at Silver Sands right on a beautiful 10 mile beach. Our efficiency was comfortable and cozy with a functional kitchen for cooking in. We had access to umbrellas and chairs for the beach and poolside. Lots to do if you wanted to venture out or stay and walk the beautiful endless beach. We will be back!

Stay was great. Pool was warm. Condo was clean and had everything we needed! Kid/family friendly which was the only downfall for us, but we knew that when booking!

We came to Florida to help with storm damage. The owner and room were fantastic.

Great property, very clean. The owner was amazing. She was wonderful to my employees and took care of them. She went above and beyond for our crew. We will recommend this place to everyone.

Convenient, clean and cozy

We stayed in unit 236; the space may measure 20 × 24 ft. They aren't large but they are adequate. The front office is welcoming and helpful, they exchanged our faulty coffee pot & alarm clock right away. The facility is very well maintained and pretty nice. The unit had everything we needed. There's a really nice pool area and the beach is 40 yards from the pool. Lovely sunsets away from the hustle & bustle of town. Will stay here again.

It was a small space for my husband, myself, & our two teenage kids, but we made it work. The pull out mattress needs an upgrade as it was all springs. Fortunately we had brought an air mattress with this in mind. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: Quiet, clean, affordable motel on the beach that was not crowded.* 1 suggestion: You require guests to strip sheets off the bed, take out the trash and clean up the unit before leaving and there is no house cleaning; yet you charge $100 for cleaning the unit also. Either charge $100 for cleaning and not make the guest clean up, or have the guest clean up, but not pay the $100. Either have the guest clean; but not both!

The condo and location were beautiful. We were not happy with the cleanliness or communication during our stay. The sheets on the pull out couch were very dirty along with the spare sheets/pillow cases in the closet. There were actual crumbs and makeup all over the sheets. There was a half empty bottle of water found under the main bedroom bed when we arrived and a stray sock under the pull out couch. We also found the previous occupants makeup under the coffee table. When I messaged the property manager about the dirty sheets, they didnt respond until the following morning saying they would "let the operations team know". Shortly after, someone showed up to give us clean sheets but not to take the dirty ones or change the sheets themselves. The next day, around 5pm, while my daughters were swimming in the pool, a young boy pooped in the pool (diarrhea floating all around). We got out of the pool and immediately messaged the property manager but since they had left for the day, there was no one to respond (or close the pool to other guests!!) until 9am the next day. So the pool stayed open. I got a response to my message the next morning which again simply said they would let their operations team know. Later (early afternoon) the following day the pool was finally closed for service. There should absolutely be protocol in place for these types of situations. We loved the location but the cleanliness was below average and the communication was disappointing.

The place was clean and close to excellent restaurants. We assumed we were staying in the two story building but were in the rooms attached to the office. Had full kitchen and everything you need. The only downside...had lots of rain but that's Florida at this time of year!

Pool is great as are the convenience of the washer and dryers . Everything is dated and needs some love! Rusted coffee pot, paper towel holder and bath room cosmetic mirror. Bath tub had mold on the tile and rust on the bath tub stopper. Oven element shorted when turned on. Air and dans work great! Ice maker has leak but made ice. Towel drying rack is rusted.

Silver Sands, Longboat Key Floriday

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation at Silver Sands. The unit was very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was steps to the beautiful beach and pool, no need to save chairs, there were plenty. Several restaurants were within walking distance. The weather was perfect!We will be back!

Great Location

Great location, friendly staff, vrbo needs updated cooking pots/pans dishes, etc. Probably to be expected after the hurricane, but if open, then these need to be updated so people staying have the ability to eat in while there. Otherwise, great stay, all you need for the beach!
