The host emailed very early requesting an additional credit card for damages. The email was very demanding, I’ve never seen something like this 3 weeks before the visit. Amenities were minimal and the home was much more dated than the pictures showed

Thank you for taking time to review your stay. As a property management company, we are required to have guests register with us prior to providing access. Our Guest Registration allows us to provide Electronic Check in so guests can then go directly to their lodging location without making a stop at our offices. We apologize if the process felt overbearing in any way. Because it is important to have the information PRIOR to your arrival, we do reach out about 2 weeks before your arrival date. We do hope that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hosting you again.
Perfect walking distance to the lifts maybe 5 minutes. The bathrooms could’ve been updated and more amenities like q-tips and decent Kleenex but overall great stay
We had a great experience. Love being so close to Snow Park Lodge but also the service from Park City Lodging was great...daily service including the hot tub to keep it fresh. The furniture has been updated compared to the pictures on HomeAway. We were a party of 6 (including 2 kids) and it met all of our need during a week stay.

We are thrilled you had a wonderful time in Park City! Thanks for staying with us and please let us know if we can ever host you again.
A nice property though a little dated. Easy walk up to the lifts at Deer Valley. None of the humidifiers worked making it a little tough on those of us from the humid south. I would recommend that they provide some storage containers for leftovers. I would recommend and have it on my list for the next time We ski Deer Valley.

Thank you for taking time to review your stay. We appreciate hearing from our guests as it helps us improve our rental properties and the guest experience. We understand that having a storage container might be helpful, BUT plastic containers are not a great option in a rental property. Smells and stains tend to get "trapped" in the plastic fairly quickly and they have to be discarded. We will definitely look at the property for needed updates and make recommendations to the property owner.
Condo is a quick few minutes walk to the Snow Park base where children's center and ski school are located. It is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It is on the older side so you will occasionally hear some pipes rumbling but nothing that bothered our party of 5 across all ages. Check-in/out was a breeze and a special thanks to management agency for going out of their way to help us with kid's booster seat need! Overall would definitely recommend a condo if you're looking for convenient location to Snow Park base.
This clean, comfortable condo is stuck in the 90's in the best way. Everything works, is clean, and cozy. Only complaint was lack of a proper spatula and an easy way to put on/take off jacuzzi top. I will happily recommend this unit to anyone. The communication and resources of the property management group made arrival so that we arrived and immediately relaxed.
This property is completely outdated and full of junk. There is lots of extra old furniture and no space to move. The place needs some serious work. The location is great but that’s where it stops. The toilets run, the faucets leak and the showers are old and in poor condition. I will never stay in this unit again!!!
My family and I (spouse and 3 teenagers) rented this condo recently. While we have stayed in multiple condos in Powder Run over the last 5-6 years, this one is by far our least favorite.
Pros: Location is #1: Hard to beat walking out of the condo a few steps to the base of the mountain. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of kitchen items and well stocked on towels.
Cons: the unit is very dated. While we were there, one of the curtain rods came down and while we tried to fix it, there were multiple stripped holes in the wall where this has happened before. Toilets are extremely low - seems like they’re meant for toddlers. Also one constantly leaked our whole trip. Wi-Fi was very spotty and did not work for the majority of our trip. My husband had to use his hot spot to do a little work. Cable also didn’t work the first day. Which was a big deal when you come off the mountain and just want to relax at night and catch up on football games. The unit only had two logs of firewood when we arrived. I called the next day and management sent some over but when I called a couple days later for me, I was told, “that’s not going to happen.”
All in all, location is great but there are so many other options of updated condos in powder run. Would not stay here again.

Thank you for taking time to review your stay at Powder Run. We apologize if anyone at our company gave you the impression that we do not respond to guest requests. There are time periods (end of day) when the traffic levels are very high and it is difficult to get to many of our properties quickly but we will always get there! I do see that firewood was delivered to the property twice during your stay. We will check into the Wi Fi at the property with the provider and see why it may have been slower than normal. It is a shared service and sometimes when there are a lot of users it can be slower. Again, we apologize that your stay was not what you expected but assure you and others that we will be addressing all of the concerns that you have brought to our attention, including guest service!
I had an unfortunate experience with Park City Lodging. I realize it was a complicated situation, but I feel that it could have been handled better by PCL. Many months ago, I planned a trip for my family to Deer Valley to ski over my kids’ spring break vacation in late March. As many know, this season was unusually warm in Deer Valley and most other ski destinations in the Western US. Several days before our trip, the forecast was still reading 70 degrees Fahrenheit with little/no snow, so we had to make a tough decision on whether or not we’d take the Deer Valley trip and incur ski school, rental, and other expenses for a family of four - or cancel the trip. We decided it wasn’t worth going to Deer Valley and cancelled all of our flights, ski lessons, day care, rentals, etc. I asked PCL if we could get a partial refund or defer our trip to a later date and I was strictly told no and that the stated cancellation policy would prevail (i.e. we would lose 100% of the trip cost). I appreciate that a policy is a policy, but given the circumstance, I thought that PCL and the unit owner would be more accommodating. As such, we ended up paying the full 6k rental rate and left the unit unattended for our planned stay. Deer Valley ended up completely closing the resort a few days ago, weeks ahead of schedule for the season, due to the unfortunate weather. I’m glad we didn’t attend given the weather, but I would have appreciated more accommodation given the very unusual circumstances.

We’re really sorry this trip didn’t come together as planned.
We truly want our guests to be protected from situations like this, which is why we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. This is designed to provide reimbursement when plans change due to unforeseen circumstances and includes a snow clause, covering cancellations when less than 50% of the resort is open. We also send a travel insurance reminder after booking so guests have another opportunity to secure coverage.
Because your reservation fell within the non-refundable cancellation period, we were unfortunately unable to offer a refund, as those dates are held exclusively for your stay and we are contractually obligated to pay the homeowner. While Deer Valley Resort did close on March 28, the day of your scheduled departure, in house guests continued to enjoy spring skiing and other seasonal activities throughout the area.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry again that your trip did not go as planned.
We traveled with our two kids ages 5 and 7. The condo was perfect. Plenty of space, great to have the hot tub, easy drive to Main Street Park City. The beds were comfortable and the couches were so cushy. Definitely recommend for families.
Loved this place - super easy check in/out, very clean and comfy, and great location for skiing. Definitely walkable even with boots on. Would stay here again!

Thank you for the great review and personal experience being able to easily walk to the lift. Hope to see you again soon!
Everywhere we looked around deer Valley It was very expensive. All around us were extremely fancy places that cost thousands and thousands. But somehow we found this condo that was closer than the parking lot to the ski resort. And it was huge, clean, tons of room for my teenagers, comfortable, and frankly the best place we’ve ever stayed when it comes to ease of skiing and location. You could see the slopes out our window. With a hot tub and a fireplace wow! Just leave your skis at deer Valley because they hold them there for you for free and all you have to do is walk over with your ski boots. Three big bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, big living area, we could not have been happier. Our hot tub did break while we were there but the property manager gave us a $50 discount for every day it was broken which was definitely appropriate and appreciated. I hope we get to stay here again. For those who love to ski but don’t want to break the bank this is nice, affordable, and even better than other places you’ll stay because of the amazing location
We highly recommend this unit but even more so the property management and concierge service were amazing. They helped plan our whole trip, helped us when we had a hard time getting back to Texas due to a winter storm and even told us where to find items such as sleds, food etc. the unit was great. Perfect for my husband and I and our four kids. The kids could put on their ski boots and literally walk to the mountain. It is so close! We had a few small problems with the condo and within hours they also had someone there to fix the issues. The kitchen is very small and hard to cook in... I love to cook but the pans etc are not meant for our size family but that is the only complaint. This unit was perfect for what we needed. We skied 4 full days and came back everyday to use the hot tub on the back porch. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much for the kind and helpful review. We hope to see the entire family again next year!
What a great place. With the complementary ski and boot storage at Deer Valley, this place was great. It was a super short walk to the base. The condo had everything we needed and worked perfectly for our family.
