Stayed with my family. House was nice, side yard was great, plenty of amenities. There is an abandoned building across the street, but other than that everything was great and we would stay again.
Had a very nice stay in Eureka. The home was nicely decorated, clean and had a well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed walking to downtown Eureka for dinner, shopping and our boys favorite the taco trucks. Look forward to returning in the future. Seth
Frank is an excellent host. The property is clean, easy to navigate, quiet, and comfortable. It has close proximity to several grocery stores, a perfect jumping off point for our daily excursions to see coastal redwoods.
Very cozy and inviting no issues, it was perfectly Decorated for our Christmas stay, everything was in order we enjoyed, Frank awnsered question when asked would recommend to family.
The house was warm and comfortable. The location was an easy drive to old town and the main highway. It was easy to find and ample parking. Had a good time and would recommend
Beautiful family home, gorgeous area. Only thing that threw us off was the 2 bathrooms were next to each other, that made things interesting lol. But overall a beautiful home, comfortable, spacious and great location.
This was the perfect location for visiting most of Eureka. We were able to walk to Old Town, the waterfront and see all the murals painted during the Eureka Street Art Festivals. The house was neat, nicely decorated and the bedrooms gave all family members their privacy. Thank you for a great family vacation!
We loved staying in this nicely updated home exuding historic charm! It was a great home base from which to see historic Eureka. The house was so beautiful and had everything we needed for our short stay. Great house and great host!
We were in town for a memorial service and had a very comfortable stay. The home has all of the amenities you cou could ask for and communication with the homeowner was so very positive. We’re thankful for the comfortable beds and living spaces. Our only complaint is that there were no grab bars in the shower for our elderly mother and that the home is on a very busy street. A standing fan turned on did mask the traffic noise though so we were happy there was a fan in the main bedroom. The home was quite beautiful and comfortable. Thank you.
Nice older home very well appointed and great furnishings. On a busy road but wasn’t bothered by traffic. Empty building across the street with transients in and out so was a little concerned leaving belongings in the car. Relocated cars to the front and there were no issues. Very comfortable and would recommend.
Gorgeous, old home. Well taken care of and styled. Easy to get to, the only gripe is there is not a lot of parking, and it is right on the road. But it is very manageable. Owner is quick to respond. This was our first time using one of these, so we were not sure what to expect. But his was perfect.
The house was very comfortable, cozy, and clean. It's very close to the downtown historic district. Host was very communicative and provided the information we needed. Would recommend!
We used this cozy house as our homebase for visiting the Redwoods. It had enough room for the kids to play and a fenced-in back yard. It also was decorated for Christmas which was nice touch during the holidays. Frank was great to work with.
Well maintained historic house in a residential neighborhood. Very clean with comfortable beds and soft fluffy towels. Kitchen and bathrooms stocked with everything needed. Comfortable living room with a great TV set up. It was nice to relax after an active day. Excellent communication with host.
