Horrible
Multiple issues during our stay. First, the check in info was sent 10 minutes before our check-in time. This consisted of a couple of sentences about how to get into the unit, nothing on where to park, WiFi info, etc.
The next thing we noticed was a loud, constant beeping sound coming from a locked closet next to the bedrooms. Loud enough to hear from the bedrooms with the doors closed. I texted the host about this issue, to which they replied that they would send someone over to fix it the following day. I followed up with them the next day to see if it was fixed, to which they replied “Security didn’t allow to turn it off”. I asked what that meant, to which I received no reply. The beeping persisted our entire 3 night stay.
Secondly, within 10 minutes of checking in, we found a dead cockroach on the bathroom floor. Later, we found another two cockroaches in one of the bedrooms. These were out in the open and should have been seen during any type of cleaning of the unit. Photos were sent to the host to which, again, there was no reply.
Third, in the bedroom that looks out to the street, the window was broken and would not close. It is a very busy street with cars going about 50-60mph so you can imagine how loud it was.
The tv in one of the bedrooms had a Roku device connected to it but there was no remote anywhere so we could not use it.
For the near $2,000 cost of our stay, I would expect more from the host and VRBO to rectify the situation.
