Glocca Morra is a luxury retreat nestled in the northern Minnesota woods on the edge of Lake Belle Taine. The estate has 4100 square feet of finished living area, situated on 4+ acres with 350’ of shoreline. This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom estate features vaulted ceilings, an open floor plan, and maple hardwood floors throughout. Built to take advantage of the beautiful lake beyond, each bedroom and living space has a view of Belle Taine’s crystal clear waters.
Enjoy breakfast looking out over the lake through the kitchen’s numerous French doors, or step outside and enjoy a cup of coffee in the gentle lakeside breeze on the large flagstone patio. In the evenings, take in the stunning nightly sunsets while having dinner in the dining area adjacent to the kitchen, or relax in the spacious living room next to the cozy gas fireplace. Alternately, curl up with a book in any of the three sitting areas scattered throughout the levels of the home.
The main floor also contains a master bedroom that includes a master bath with jacuzzi tub, and a generous walk-in closet. The second story of the home has three formal bedrooms, all with a breathtaking view of the lake, along with a bonus room equipped with 3 twin beds plus a twin trundle. The estate’s upper floor has a large family room and attached kitchenette, with yet another inviting view of Lake Belle Taine.
Each season brings opportunity to enjoy the property and surrounding area. Play on the 350’ of shoreline during the hot summer days. Marvel at the brilliant colors of the fall leaves. ATV and snowmobile in the cooler seasons with trail access nearby.

Great Family Getaway

Beautiful property and location. Found it to be very peaceful and relaxing. The property was spotless and well maintained. Lots of space to spread out. The home had no issue accommodating our large group. The upper level rec room was a big hit with the kids. While the fall didn’t lend itself to many lake activities, the view was spectacular. The weather was nice during our stay and allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. There were play structures for the kids and lots of area to explore and play outside games. Some of the adults were able to hit the UTV trails nearby. We are thinking of coming back this winter for a long weekend of snowmobiling.

This is the place of my childhood enchanted summers. It was my grandparents' home on Lake Belle Taine. While it is much bigger now than previously, it has not lost its magical cozy feeling of a stone house in the woods on a pristine lake. I can't imagine a better place for a family vacation. The lake itself is reason to come. Gorgeous clear water and sandy beach....the fishing for Bass, Bluegill, Sunfish, Crappie, Northern Pike, and Perch was excellent.

Great place!

This is a very spacious house. Everyone had a place to hang out, many different areas. Everything we needed was provided. The kids liked the extra bedroom with 3 beds.We enjoyed the lake and especially the lily pad. Also close to grocery stores, eating places and bait stores. A beautiful area. The host was great to work with! Wish we could of stayed longer.

We rented the house over Easter weekend. Our family has grown to the point where we all can’t fit into any of our families’ homes anymore, so we rented this home so the whole family could be together. The pictures don’t do the house justice. The house is so unique with its one of a kind architecture. The kids enjoyed exploring house as much as the adults admired it. It’s has everything we needed and more. Plenty of space for the whole family to talk, play games and enjoy meals together. The house was clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend it. I’ve vacationed on this lake before and Lake Belle Taine is one of the top rated lakes in the state, for water clarity and sandy beaches. We already making plans to return.

Lake Belle Taine is an outstanding lake. I have been on this lake for 55 years. Lake Belle Taine is a clean, clear lake with over 26' of clarity. It is also a good size for boating, water skiing, and fishing activities.

What makes this property unique

Glocca Morra is on the main part of Lake Belle Taine and has a very large, level shoreline. The house is breathtaking inside and out, and is situated very close to the lake.
