About this property

This is a standalone accessory dwelling unit (ADU)/apartment above garage, which is a detached building from the front main house. The entire unit was completely renovated in Jan 2023, this is a great quiet space to stay for graduations on base, business travelers, etc. with just minutes to walk to the Potomac river waterfront and one street over from restaurants in the Town of Quantico.

The home has an open floor plan of a living room with TV, kitchen with eat in countertop, small desk, and separate bedroom and bathroom.

Guest access
Guests will need to use exterior wood stairs in order to access the property. Please see the photos for details of stairs. The property is behind the main home, which is also a short term furnished rental property available separately. The backyard and side walkway to get to apartment as well as laundry below apartment are shared space.

Other things to note
Guests will need to have base access or obtain visitor access to use Fuller Road (through Quantico reservation) in order to get to the unit.

Clean and cozy

This apartment had everything we needed. It was very clean and well appointed. Do make sure you get your visitors pass from the Marine Corps Visitors Center before trying to drive through base to Quantico. Host replies quickly and is very helpful.

My daughter and I are excited to be hosting our first AirBnB as my plan to help save for her college! I've lived in this beautiful area for 13 years and look forward to helping all guests have a great experience in the area.

Why they chose this property

This is the perfect place to stay as an alternative to a hotel - it is just outside the 'main side' of Quantico Base, but the Town itself is not 'part of' the base. The town had all the land around it purchased in 1918, making it a unique place that can not grow, and that is very secure inside the military gates protected by our fine military.

What makes this property unique

This building is a stand-alone, there is a washer/dryer below the unit (Shared with front end Bungalow on 4th unit rented as a short term as well). The yard between the units is being renovated in Jan 2023 to be all gravel with a nice patio table/chairs. The area is very quiet, you can walk down to the Potomac River in less than 3 minutes (only 3 buildings to the right of this property), and you can see the Quantico Marina from the hallway & bathroom windows.
